In that event, we flew the Cirrus SR-20 from Les Cedres (CSS3) just outside of Montreal to Mont-Tremblant (CYFJ). It was a simple little 70nm trip just to test everything out. This month, your challenge is to fly the same route but after 10 years the scenery & aircraft have improved and should make for an enjoyable flight experience. Join Canadian Xpress today in order to participate as there are some great prizes to be won including: Any Aerosoft Dow…

After nearly 10 years of calling Montreal home, the lease is up on our office space at Montreal (CYUL) and we are heading west to Edmonton (CYEG). That means we have a lot of office equipment, spare parts, and airplanes to get out of Montreal before December 31st. Any newer pilots looking to jump ranks are going to love this. Time is tight to make this all happen, so we are authorizing double time pay to move some aircraft. For every flight hour you log, we’ll give you double the hours. This month, your mission is to fly from Montréal (CYUL) to Edmonton (CYEG) with any Canadian Xpress that you have the rank to fly, meaning if you are a Captain you can only fly t…

I was curious what the interest is in a Prime Air Virtual Airline. I've been exploring the different offerings of ACARS/Website designs today and I don't want to commit to much time or money into something there might not be any interest in. Key benefit in this type of Virtual Airline is there is no set schedule really as the airline/service is still being developed. So route structure and fleet are out our whim! What I'm thinking as of now Fleet: B744/748 B777 B787 B767/757 B737 Feeder Fleet Q400/ATR Caravan Hubs KCVG (Real Hub for DHL which has close ties to AMZ) PANC (Asia Entry and US Distribution) …

Hello All! I run an Organization called the Historic virtual Air Force. We operate US Air Force aircraft from WWII up to 1999. We are a brand new organization but this project has been in work since June by a couple of long time veterans of virtual Military organizations. Some differences you will find with us over other Virtual Military Organizations are: 1: We allow pilots to decide how much they want to get from this organization. Whether that means flying every day or just a reason to pull out your favorite war bird once a month 2: We offer full X-Plane support. X-Plane has been neglected in the virtual special operations field for too long. We have s…

Gibraltar Airport is considered a hazard for aircraft because the Rock of Gibraltar sits ever so close to the runway. Approaching planes have to curve sharply over the Bay of Algeciras before touching down to land. Furthermore, the facility literally has a road cutting through it. Both cars and planes must wait patiently for each other to pass. Understandably, this creates a disturbance in the airport’s operations. This month, your mission is to fly from Barcelona (LEBL) to Gibraltar Airport (LXGB) with either the Canadian Xpress Boeing 737-700/900 or Airbus A318/A319/A320 freeware or payware aircraft which are available to all pilots regardless of rank, but onl…

When two hobby captains founded a small virtual airline back in August 2000, they did not realize that their virtual Charter Air was supposed to create a whole network with many affiliated virtual airlines from all over the world - named as woh|group virtual airlines. Today, woh|group consists of seven airlines, which are based in Europe, the US and the United Arab Emirates. They are offering a widely spread route network und an interesting but realistic mix of aircraft types. With a large community and regular meetings (both virtual and real), a lively forum and much more, we are a major virtual airline with a lot of tradition. We are also offering a home to …
