Wow nice. A quick question for you 😉 did you ever use the crossfeeds to feed off tank 2 until 1 2 3 were equal or did you use the trans pump + fill tanks 🙂

Hi fellow simmers, After my MSFS2024 installation became corrupt and needed fixing, I opened the latest X-Plane Update for a change and was amazed by how smooth its become! I'm now running high settings and no lag - not even on the Felis 747 at 60FPS. Today, I Joshua757 am getting back in the 757! I'm going to be flying the New Pacific Debut Route from KONT - KLAS in the 757, following Real ATA 757 Normal Proceedures.

Classic jet fans, this one's for you. Today I'm taking the iconic (and rare) Air India Lockheed L-1011-500 TriStar with registration V2-LEK out for a full flight. This aircraft has quite the story: one of only two L-1011-500s briefly wet-leased by Air India. Painted in the beautiful "Palace in the Sky" livery, it operated short-haul and European routes. Later in life, V2-LEK ended up as an artificial reef — deliberately sunk in the Red Sea off Aqaba, Jordan in 2019, where it now serves as a unique scuba diving site and coral habitat. But today, she's back in the air in stunning Air India colors — thanks to the brand new IniBuilds L-1011 TriStar for Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024. This session will be a comprehensive cold & dark startup, deep systems walkthrough, and in-flight tutorial covering: The full Flight Engineer station and V1.01 improvements.

According to L1011 CBT: "The fuel supply for the APU is taken by a taping in the #2 Engine Feed Pipe downstream of the Engine #2 Tank Valve. Because of this, if the Engine #2 tank valve is closed, the APU will be inoperative" Hope this helps with your TriStar Start Ups Cheers, Joshua757

I did. APU bleed off. It wouldn't shut down regardless. It stayed on in flight too. Even pulling the APU fire handle didn't shut it down. 😕

I had a great time today flying the TriStar from KJFK to KIAD. I went live, showcasing the addon as well as an in depth analysis of TriStar Systems and Delta Flows. A couple of quirks along the way: The captains CDI display didn't work, so I flew from the F/O's seat - a first in my 10 years flightsim experience 😃😁 VOR LOC didn't always work as intended. Also, the APU refused the shut down after engine start. Other than that I really enjoyed the ride ! The full tutorial here in case anyone wants more TriStar knowledge. The EFB is really nice too 😉
