Missing airports/version number in MSFS Airport archive
Dear kiek, yesterday Dave solved the problem with the low quality factor in another thread. The culprit was a mismatch of the package version in the manifest.json and the version number in the airport archive www.lekseecon.nl/downloads/docs/msfs_archive.txt So far, so good. I was able to correct a few of my mismatched airports according to the list, but I noticed that many airports are missing in the list for some reason and I can‘t get the version number in the MSFS 2020 list. (I have not switched over to MSFS 2024 yet, where the list seems to be complete). For example I can‘t see Aerosoft EBBR in the MSFS list Also no Macco Sim EGCC visible. pyreegue EGBB is also missing. RWprofiles EGNT also not there Just to name four of them….. As these airports are usable in MSFS 2020 I‘m wondering why they are not showing up in the list? I downloaded all airports again to keep them up to date, but the update and correct qf in PSXTraffic only worked for those airports which show up in the archive list. By the way I also double checked the PSXTraffic folder under airports\my_thirdparty and all working airports are a text document there, while all "broken" airports with low qf are xml-files.

Macco Sim Manchester/EGCC Quality factor 1
Hi Dave, your advice actually worked. At least in my case for KSEA. You definitely found the culprit! 👍 I‘m still using MSFS 2020 though and the MSFS airport archive is missing many airports compared to the the MSFS 2024 archive, in order to match the manifest.json But I‘m best going to open a new thread for this.

Okay thanks a lot Dave, I‘m going to try this tomorrow.

Hi Dave, thanks for the reply. Where do I find the manifest file? And how did you correct it to match the numbers? Manually?

Macco Sim Manchester/EGCC Quality factor 1
I have a lot of airports in the TLOB folder as well. All of them have been around for a long time already. At my end the particular airports are: EBBR, EDDH, EDDL, EFHK, EGBB, EGCC, EGGD, EGLL, EGNT, ELLX, GCLP, KLAX, KSEA, LEBL, LEMD, LFMN, LFSB, LOWW, LTFM, RCTP, VTBS. I sent you an e-mail with the tblo.zip file.

Hi kiek, I tried the re-scan for airports, but no success. Could you please take a look into the log file?

Macco Sim Manchester/EGCC Quality factor 1
Dear kiek, could you maybe take a look into the data of Macco Sim scenery Manchester/EGCC? I only get a indicated qf of 1 and only 2 static aircraft parked. Or is this maybe a problem on my end? Greetings

Rapidly moving/spinning aircraft at airport
Here is another example shortly after. I exited PsxTraffic and turned it back on again and at the same place two different aircraft are spinning and moving around, now two Aer Lingus planes, again visible with 0000000 in the log file. 00000000 EI-DVN EIN A320 =1= AIGAIM_Aer Lingus Airbus A320-200 Complete logfile below.

Rapidly moving/spinning aircraft at airport
Hi kiek, it`s me again. 😉 I did notice something else at Dublin EIDW today (and before at other airports) There are two aircraft just north of the cargo apron/next to the tower just moving around rapidly over the ground, spinning around from time to time across a large area through bushes and the area there. I looked into the log file and checked with littlenavmap and they seem to be the aircraft listed with a 00000000. 00000000 CN-ROK RAM B738 =1= AIGAIM_Royal Air Maroc Boeing 737-800WL 00000000 EI-ENW RYR B738 =1= AIGAIM_Ryanair Boeing 737-800WL I will attach the complete log file below. Do you think you can have a look into this as well? Greetings Robert

Aircraft in 90 degree angle on TWY

Amazing, thank you for all the effort you put into this and the quick fixes. I really appreciate it.

Aircraft in 90 degree angle on TWY
Thanks for the reply, kiek. So the two last very recent occurences which I know the exact time and place of have happened here: Today 26 August, at Dublin EIDW at around 10:15 UTC. Flight AA 208 inbound from Chicago waiting on taxiway S and behind it was an Aer Lingus Airbus A320 (don’t know where from though) stuck also in 90 dregrees angle. Then yesterday, 25 August, at Newark KEWR at around 20:45 UTC. I noticed Flight UA 509 or 510 inbound from Rome FCO on taxiway Y while waiting for a gate also in 90 degrees angle. They went straight ahead again as soon as they started taxiing. By the way, the program I‘m using is PsxTraffic with Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020. Thanks for looking into it.

Aircraft in 90 degree angle on TWY
Hi kiek, for some days I have been noticing that aircraft on the taxiway which are not moving but waiting for something are stuck in a 90 degree angle and not straight on the taxiway. From my observation this mostly affects those aircraft which temporarily have lost data. At some point you built in the nice function that they remain in place in their last position until they move again/get data again which made it very realistic. Have there been any changes in the software? Could you maybe have a look into this and fix it the way it was before so that they stay straight on the taxiway? Thank you so much.

QNH discrepancy KLAS
Hi kiek, Thanks for trying. 🙂

QNH discrepancy KLAS
Hi, I‘m using FlyTampa‘s KLAS and I noticed that the QNH showing in the PSXTraffic window is lower than the actual QNH in the real world METAR and what RealTraffic is displaying. This leads to aircraft touching down before the runway. I checked with other airports, and everything matches correctly there. I just have the issue at KLAS. What could be the reason for this?
-
Hello Kiek. Some suggestion:)
Kiek, I can‘t thank you enough for the improved taxiing behaviour. It adds so much to the realism by having „stable“ aircraft in line for take off, which do not disappear anymore. Amazing work!

Question regarding livery matching depth
Thank you kiek, I now got a model of the 787-10 plus livery so psxt can successfully create and show it in the sim. This brings me to another question though, which is also a topic in your manual, but which I don‘t quite understand. There are several small regional airlines in the USA (Skywest, Republic, Mesa etc) which operate on behalf of the big US Airlines, even for more than one at a time. Most of them have the livery of United, American or Delta and this often gets mixed up in the sim if for example Skywest flies with a United Airlines flight number but shows up with Delta Airlines livery because it‘s also a wetlease carrier for DL at times. Is there a way to adjust this? I have already been playing with the matching depths 2-4 , but they often show up with the wrong livery nonetheless. thanks.

Question regarding livery matching depth
Hi everyone, I have following situation and maybe I have a wrong understanding of the topic, even after consulting the manual. When loading up PSXT I get the message in the lower column that „United Boeing 787-10 can not be loaded“. So far, so acceptable. Could be that I don‘t have the livery installed. But my Aircraft matching depth is set to 4. Wouldn‘t that mean, that the program should at least try to replace it with a similar model of the airline? Let‘s say a UA 787-9? Because at the moment the flight just doesn‘t show up at all in the sim, because it is operated by a 787-10. Do I need to change to a different setting? But I thought matching level 4 would enable all alternative possibilities in favour for maximum traffic. Advice would be apprecited.

Updated list of airports with immaculate ground traffic
Hi everyone, there used to be a thread, listing airports with very good or even perfect ground coverage. Over the time this has deteriorated for some airports while others have experienced improvements. So I would like to start a new thread with an up to date list of airports where you can fully experience movements on the ground without vanishing planes. Let me start with: Basel LFSB Brussels EBBR Edinburgh EGPH Vienna LOWW Geneva LSGG
- "PT-only" quality factor for airports

Drzewiecki RJAA
Has the overall quality and stability of the traffic improved as well? i have not been on Flight Simulator for weeks because of disapearing traffic constantly.
