  1. Can you take screenshots of what you're trying to do.
  2. Can't get it to run, kept saying error during installation.
  3. I'm flying in Britain and what I notice is that the Metar is correct, however it seems the sim is only relying on data from METAR. For example if Metar says broken clouds, in the sim its only broken clouds and nothing else. When you look at a live webcam from real life, the weather looks totally different.
  4. Streaming is still currently broken despite people finally getting in. Streaming affects things like ground textures, to model textures etc.
  5. Oh boy, the usual suspects are here again. This thread needs to be locked.
  6. Just chiming in. Essentially it is this right? Alec is looking at the purple and you are saying the green box is what really matters?
  7. Just saw someone on reddit did a comparison between a road in MSFS 2020 and the same road in MSFS 2024. The road in MSFS 2024 looks extremely bad. This just goes to show its an alpha and that we are given a very limited build to test. Like connect the dots and ask yourself why is some parts of MSFS 2020 looking so much better than 2024. The top pic is MSFS 2024 Also on that note, any comparison between MSFS 2020 and MSFS 2024 should be put on HOLD. We simply do not know how much we are missing in this limited alpha build and it is disingenuous to compare them as of now. Wait till it release is the right thing to do.
  8. OMG the lighting is insane. Its so realistic I'm flying above my house and the color of sky and surroundings is almost the same. In MSFS there were some issues, but MSFS 2024 is the real deal.
  9. Night lighting is bugged for me, I see stripes on the ground.
  10. When clicking on open in xbox app it keeps bringing me to the msfs 40th anniversary store. edit: After exiting and restarting everything it now works.
  11. Any more details for the custom controls? Looks awfully like lock mode.
  12. ifly has custom controls? In lock mode you have to use the mouse wheel to rotate the knobs where as in legacy a icon comes up when you hover your mouse over the buttons to indicate rotation. Also I think you can disable the indicators in lock mode.
  13. Who are you watching? All the recent preview videos of the aircraft from 320 pilot, XP72, Chewwy94, twotonemurphy, flightdeck2sim, Blackbox711, CST Gaming are all not using legacy mode. So I'm pretty sure the ifly devs specifically told the previewers to not use legacy mode and instead use the default mode. I think some of the buttons don't work in legacy mode.
  14. This is the first time that I have seen so many previewers not using legacy mode for mouse controls. I think the ifly devs specifically told the previewers to use lock mode which is the default mouse control method to interact with buttons in msfs .
  15. Is there a difference between upgraded and new airports? All I see is that it only matters whether airports are hand crafted or not and the degree of quality. The 2020 premium deluxe version for example came with 40 airports, here 2024 is saying 160 airports for its premium deluxe version which is a huge jump.
  16. Speaking of picture I think both are inaccurate. In the default one, I think it should be less yellow and more grey, Where as the rex one is more grey but is brighter.
