I have now tried a few things. Once again, please note that P2ATC runs on a second external PC. The IP address of the X-Plane computer is set and the “Run on X-Plane Remote Computer” option is selected. This works perfectly with version 0.2.8. However, this remote connection no longer works with version 0.2.9. In version 0.2.9, I deselected the “Run on X-Plane Remote Computer” option and restarted XPUIPC (as for the V2 version). This allows the connection to work (I just can't see the AI aircraft). The settings on the X-Plane computer must be correct, as version 0.2.8 works. I also deleted the AppConfig.xml file and made completely new settings, but without success. I disabled the entire Windows Firewall, but that didn't help either. After installing versions 0.2.8 and 0.2.9 alternately 10 times, I believe that the new version is the problem, as it can no longer connect to the X-Plane remote computer. Regards Andreas

Hello Dave, I installed the latest update to version 0.2.9. After starting P2ATC and pressing the connect button, nothing happens. The Com1 and 2 channels are not displayed and the aircraft is not visible in the correct position. It looks as if the connection is not working. I reinstalled version 0.2.8 and everything works. Then I reinstalled version 0.2.9 and there is no connection. I have the latest version of X-Plane 12 (12.4.0-r2). OK, thank you. I'll wait for the next update. Why doesn't Smart Copilot request “Request enroute descent” anymore? This worked very well in version 2 if the TOD deviated too much from the TOD of the Toliss A320.

However, I did not receive any descent instructions from ATC on my last flights. Shouldn't ATC report at the TOD point? Andreas

I flew with P2ATC V2 for a long time. Now I've switched to version 3. The first flights were quite successful. However, I do have a few questions. In the old version, a clearance to descend was issued at the TOD. If my calculated TOD was a little earlier, I could request it (request enroute descent). In version 3, I can see the TOD in the flight plan, but nothing happens when I reach the point. Does the TOD work differently in version 3? Regards Andreas

Hi Dave, I have entered a flight plan created with Simbrief in P2ATC. I then took off and was in the air. On my weather radar ( ToLiss A320 neo ) I see a bad weather area in my flight path. I want to avoid this area, so I have to change my planned flight route for a certain distance. How can I do this with P2ATC? I have to inform the air traffic controller somehow and then resume the original course later. Greetings Andreas

Hello Dave, I have successfully completed many flights with Pilot2ATC. It's really fun 🙂 But there is one thing I often notice. I use X-Plane 12 and Traffic Global. My flight planning is done. The flight plan has been submitted and confirmed in Pilot2ATC. The process has progressed to pushback. The necessary approvals from Pilot2ATC have also all been given. All good so far. Now the runway for take-off is changing in Traffic Global (this happens frequently, in reality the runway also changes from time to time). Can I change the runway for departure at this point without having to reconfirm the flight plan? Simply inform Pilot2ATC that the runway has changed? Andreas
