  1. Hi John don't know, I hope it stays the same with all the libraries as before. But no one will be able to upload any files. So it will be limited, no new files will be added. Andrea
  2. Hello. I wrote that because I don't trust renovations. Flightsim was fine as it was. They said that the new Flightsim will be simpler, but it will remain the same as before. I suspect that this is an excuse because someone saw an opportunity to make money. They also said that uploading will no longer be possible, but that all the files will remain. I don't believe that at
  3. You're right, FS Studio can only add tools, but it can't change the background. I'll have to put up with the distorted panel.
  4. Thank PebbleBeach for your answer Is it possible with FSPanel Studio ?
  5. Thanks chris_eve
  6. Good morning, everyone. I wanted to try an ILS landing at Viracopos SBKP airport in Brazil, but without the ILS chart, I was unable to land, even after several attempts. Have any of you simmers tried landing at that airport in the past? Without the altitude to intercept the glide path, how could it be done? Thank you anyway. P.S.: Is it possible to attach something to a post? For example, a photo or a drawing? (but not from URL,from my PC)
  7. For Hernandez and Hans J. I think Hans J. is right. The problem with that plane is that I use a 4:3 monitor. But its panel was designed for 16:9. Unfortunately, I have no way to test it with the correct monitor format, but I did find the right solution from the forum. Although I can't apply it yet, the product description on the site where I purchased it should have mentioned 16:9. Luckily, it was almost given away; in fact, it only costs €6.10. Amen Ciao
  8. Thanks to all of you, I also actually think the problem lies in the monitor's format. As for the operating system, here in Italy there's still the option of having Win10, as there are companies that remanufacture it. As for my plane, I think I'll have to throw it in the trash. But the avsim forum is proving to be very good. Let's hope it doesn't die out like the flightsim forum. Talk to you later. Andrea
  9. chris_eve This means that whatever resolution I choose doesn't apply to fs9, meaning there are no changes. Now I'd like to buy a PC with Win 10 installed, but I'm not sure if fs2004 will run as well as it does with Win 7. Which version of Win 10 will be best for fs2004? I know there are several, both 32-bit and 64-bit. What do you think?
  10. Hi, I tried with three different PCs, but there's nothing to do. I don't understand why, but maybe it depends on the fact that I installed FS2004 in Win7, when it should be Win XP? The result is always the same for every resolution!
  11. Hi Hernandez, I tried merging the panel you found, but it was another disaster. I'll try again, but I'm not optimistic. With patience.
  12. My PC is a bit old, it's a Pentium D 820 with 4 GB DDR2 RAM. The graphics card is an Nvidia GeForce GT 1030.0 The possible resolutions are 34, from 800x600x32 to 1920x1080x16 with 32 intermediate values. But I noticed that by setting a different resolution, the FS2004 screen remains the same. Regardless of the value set. It seems a bit strange to me.
  13. Hi Hernandez Thanks for the link you sent, which works. It seems to me that the only solution is the one in point 3 of your last reply. The difficulty will be the merge, which I tried a while back when merging a 767-757 with a nice panel made by Colacicco. The result was a disaster because there was no step-by-step explanation. The author forgot that an amateur couldn't handle it. Now I'll try choosing the right panel from your link, and I'll try patiently. If that fails, I'll turn to the forum again, hoping someone with experience merging panels can help. But I don't understand why Virtualcol did it in 16:9 when 4:3 was the standard back then. Ciao
  14. The distorted panel only occurs with Jetstream31 from virtualcol.
  15. Finally, virtualcol replied and sent me a link where I could download a version of the aircraft that should be compatible with FS2004. I downloaded and installed it, but nothing changed. The panel was still distorted! Fortunately, the aircraft was inexpensive, but I'm disappointed because it was a nice aircraft, within the limits of FS2004. My 4:3 monitor has several possible resolutions, but I can't say which one is native. However, I think the issue with the 16:9 panel should have been disclosed: I wouldn't have bought it. Redoing a panel is only for professionals, and that's not my case. Bye
  16. Many thanks at all for answers : ( CHRIS_EVE , HANS J , HERNANDEZ ) I have 1366 x 768 resolution video, but nothing changes. Unfortunately the "baepanelproject" link is off. Now I am waiting the virtualcol answer, but I think my aircraft that's how it is.
  17. I remember you. We wrote to each other a few years ago about a HUD that I couldn't install. The Virtualcol aircraft seems, as you say, to have been designed many years ago... but at the time, 12:9 screens probably didn't exist yet. I use 4:3 because I like it better. I need to check my resolution, and then I'll write back to you. What I regret is that Virtualcol didn't reply to me.
  18. Good morning, I was a little disappointed with my latest purchase. It's a Virtualcol aircraft, the Jetstream31 for the eternal FS2004. It's well made, except that the cockpit instruments are not round, but oval. They are compressed and distorted. I wrote twice, but I didn't receive a reply. Probably because it's inexpensive. Does anyone have any suggestions? Can its unpleasant appearance be modified? Thanks anyway. Chiastra Andrea
  19. Thanks for your help to me, Andrea
  20. Thank you...I finally understand where to enter the coordinates in FS2004. I still need your help with the "Slew" mode: I would like to install an ADF near the Alhambra Fortress using the method you explained to me. Can I do this with AFCAD and/or ADE? This is just for my own enjoyment. But thank you for your help. Andrea ps.: fs2004= the best !
  21. I read about two types on Google: Sexagesimal, i.e., degrees, minutes, seconds For example: 42* 23'12.1212" Or Decimal: A single decimal number representing the angle. (e.g., 12.51212*) but I still don't understand. Sorry for my confusion: where is the "Map option from the world menu within FS9"? Unfortunately, there is the language barrier, and the translation is not sufficient. Why might it be useful to enter Slew Mode to avoid a crash? Thanks anyway for your interest. Andrea ps.: How can I write in plain text ? Sorry again.
  22. Good morning. Can someone tell me what type of coordinates FS2004 uses, and how to enter them into the simulator to launch an airport? There are two types, but which one does FS2004 use? Thank you at all Andrea
  23. Thanks chris_eve for your answer. I finally understood. Andrea
  24. Good morning everyone. I have a question: when for example I install an airport, or an airplane that has an effects folder to install, I see that inside it also has a texture folder. Where do I install its bitmap content? Thanks everyone. Andrea (Excuse me for text)
