  1. Thanks for this - it crossed with my last post
  2. Using my binding for 'Toggle Gear' does not work with the water rudder, which is what I would expect. I have bound a button to 'Toggle Water Rudder' and that does not work. I think it should only works when on water, which is when I am trying to use it. Any other thoughts?
  3. Loving the caravan and have just started flying the amphibious variant. Have bound different buttons to 'toggle water rudder' and I cannot get the binding to work. I can use my mouse within the cockpit to move the lever which lower and raises the water rudder - cannot understand as to why I cannot bind them to a button. Any thoughts?
  4. Many thanks Aamir - I will do - just thought I could sort it out myself - but obviously not on this occasion.
  5. Uninstalled and reinstalled - changed Fenix aircraft variant - and still experiencing the same issue. Not sure what to do next.
  6. MSFS 2024 with the Fenix A319 CFM with wing tips and the ITA livery Going to uninstall and reinstall to see if that works
  7. Aamir - I have left it for plenty of time to initialise - every other display initialises fine - and I have been flying this aircraft since its release - so am very familiar with the 'waking up' and 'initialising' procedures. Whereas the FD's, speed and heading indicators are flashing - the altitude in steady.
  8. After a week or two flying GA, I have just returned to the Fenix A319 and spawned it on a ramp at LIML. When it loaded up, both FD indicators together with the speed and heading indicators were flashing on and off. I thought this might be a random failure, but have been unable to find such a failure. Checked the breakers, and the settings to no avail. Then downloaded the Fenix again, and spawned it at the same location - still get the flashing indicators. This happens whether I am on ground power or the APU. Never had this before - has anyone else experienced it - and does anyone have any suggestions how to fix it? Happy flying days.
  9. Came across this last week, and now see that one of our community has made a video about it - so here you are.
  10. Found this post on another forum - liked the content - and the author said he was happy for me to share further. FR24 to SimBrief — Quick OFP Generator Wanted to share a free tool I’ve been working on: fr24tosimbrief.com The idea is simple — grab a flight from FlightRadar24, paste the link, and it pulls all the flight data (origin, destination, aircraft, airline, route) and sends it straight to SimBrief to generate your OFP. No more manually typing in airport codes. The aircraft ICAO type gets pre-filled automatically, but you’ll still select your specific airframe (Fenix, PMDG, etc.) on SimBrief’s dispatch page once it opens. What it does: ∙ Paste any FR24 link (live or historic flights) and it auto-fetches the flight details ∙ One click to generate your OFP in SimBrief with everything pre-filled ∙ Override the aircraft type if you want to fly something different than what’s on the real flight ∙ Flight Finder tab if you don’t have an FR24 link — pick an airline, aircraft, and departure airport and it generates a realistic destination. It factors in real-world aircraft range and matches airport size to your aircraft type, so no CRJs landing at tiny GA strips or Cessnas pulling into a widebody gate. If you pick an airline, it prioritizes airports they actually serve. ∙ Flight length preference (short/medium/long) so you can match your session time ∙ Works on mobile too It’s completely free, no account needed. Just been building it as a side project because I got tired of the copy-paste routine between FR24 and SimBrief every time I wanted to fly a real-world route. Would love to hear any feedback or feature suggestions. Check it out at fr24tosimbrief.com
  11. I am loving Chaseplane - but have one question. When I have setup all my views in say a variant of the Fenix A320, I assumed I could 'import' these to other variants of the same model. It has worked, but just now I setup all my desired views on a Fenix A321 variant and when I went to import them to another variant - I could not find the plane with the selected views. So, should I have somehow have saved the desired views, and if so how? Is there anyway that I can then rename the 'master' view variant as the Master?
  12. Many thanks jcomm and sniper31 for your responses - very helpful and I now think I have cracked the problem. It would appear that it was the sensitivities that needed adjusting on the X axis. Now all seems to be working as I would expect. Thanks again and happy flying.
  13. Hi all, I have posted on this topic some time ago, but could not find the thread in a recent search. The issue I am facing is this. I use the Thrustmaster Hotas Warthog throttle and joystick. When I spawn any of the Fenix airbuses onto a runway, the digital displays come online, and then after about a minute an orange 'speed brake' sign appears on the upper ecam, and I cannot clear it. When I look at the wings, the speedbrakes are not deployed, and that is confirmed by looking at the facilities on the lower ecam. The speedbrake arm is in the off position, and if I engage it (or the axis that I also have for the speedbrakes) they work as one would expect. If I 'continue' to fly and ignore the speed brake warning message, I then get a message saying F/CTL SPD BRK DISAGREE. I thought I might have some double bindings, particularly on my numeric keypad which I use for chaseplane views, and sure enough I did. So, I cleared all of those, but the issue persists. I am running out of ideas as to what to do next to fix the issue, and would welcome any thoughts and/or suggestions. Cheers.
  14. I have watched both of the Huddison youtube videos of the new Flow Pro for MSFS 2024. In one of them he has placed the active pause on the wheel, and when he selected active pause it went green and the simulator paused. When I do the same, the active pause goes green momentarily and then the wheel disappears and the simulator does not pause. I have uninstalled and reinstalled the new Flow Pro and get the same outcome each time. It is such a great feature for me and I am keen to get it working - any guidance is appreciated.
  15. I cannot get the 'active pause' within Flow Pro MSFS 2024 to work. This as many will know also halts the flow of fuel etc when active. Anyone help me to get it working?
  16. Thanks for your response. I have NO problem importing the Simbrief flight plan - but my question is - do I need to go to the flight procedure page to add in the arrival and approach?
  17. I have been trying to find a tutorial video for using the TDS GTNXi with Simbrief and STARS. I have no issue preparing the flightplan in Simbrief and then importing it into the TDS GTNXi and then following the flightplan after take off. My issue is setting up the STAR approach to my destination airport. I select flight procedures, then choose my arrival and approach. I reference Navigraph charts, but have just not mastered it. My latest flight was from MKJS to MKJP. The final waypoint in the Simbrief flightplan before the destination airport was SALOC, so after refencing Navigraph, I chose the ACEDA approach to ILS 12. Took me way off where I expected to go. Another question is that when I initially selected the arrival and approach it was placed in the middle of the flightplan (which I deleted when I noticed) and therefore assume I have to insert it after the final waypoint SALOC The tutorials I have found cover the importing of a Simbrief flightplan - its the arrival and approach on which I need help. Any guidance will be very welcomed. Happy flying
  18. Uninstall - and then when you reinstall from ORBX central - you will be presented with the option of installing in the ORBX library or msfs 2024 (which will be the community folder).................................................................................take a breath.........................have a sip of coffee......................that's it.......................now make your decision. I think from what you have said that will solve your issue. Suggest you choose msfs 2024. Let me know if it works. You are not my brother are you?...................cause you sound like him.
  19. I was just programming a flight plan into the Fenic MCDU, having initially imported via Simbrief, and then made two errors. I wanted to ‘reset’ the flight plan to start again. Could not find a way of doing this. Tried deleting each waypoint but that would then have meant rendering each one manually. Surely there must be a way to ‘reset?’
  20. Can someone help or direct me to a video that will help me set up my XBox controller for use in MSFS 2024. I want to use the controller purely to move around i.e. move forward, backwards, right, left, up, down etc. - not to use it to fly the aircraft. I have tried binding the buttons through the control tab on the settings page - but just cannot get them to work. Happy Flying
  21. Not sure exactly what you mean by the FENIX EFB not connecting after the latest update. If you mean that the EFB screen is blank - then try pushing the EFB 'On' button (middle of left hand edge of the EFB) - it works for me.
  22. Simply because the source on which I found the notes - the Fenix installer - would not allow me to copy the notes - and hence I could not paste them. So the screenshot with a link was the next best solution.
