I completely unistalled fs2020 after have been considering all aircraft (pmdg 777 and fenix) work. I honestly woukd unistall 2020, it's a waste of hdd space vs 2024.

As I said before, I think I'll subscribe to the monthly subscription (navdata + charts) for €11.04 for just one month. I usually buy one cycle per year and fly with that cycle for a entire year. It would be better to subscribe to just navdata for €36.34 per year, but in my opinion, the changes from one month to the next are so insignificant that it's not worth it. Once the subscription expires, I'll fly with "AIRAC OUT OF DATE" warning in the FMC of my airplanes (I'll get over it), and I'll use the free charts from Flight Simulator 2024. I respect all your opinions because they show me different approaches to this hobby, which is becoming increasingly expensive year after year.

I also think Navigraph is an excellent service, but for someone like me who doesn't use it regularly but wants to use a few cycles a year and not all the cycles monthly, it's a bit of a waste of money. There are some months when I don't use the simulator at all, and in those months when I don't fly, I wouldn't use it. That's why I was saying that if there was the possibility of synchronizing the various add-ons with the Microsoft database too, it would be excellent in my case. Anyway, thanks for all your opinions; they're all very interesting and help us simmers understand the various points of view.

No, you are right. That's why I asked your opinion. You could keep both databases and let the user choose.

I've been wondering for a long time why all the add-ons we use can't be synchronized with a single and unique AIRAC database. With FS2024 and its excellent flight planner, I think the time has come to have a single, monthly-updated database that all the payware add-ons we regularly use could rely on. This would have enormous advantages: 1) synchronization would be automatic for all addons with each release cycle 2) a single database format would be used by all addons developers 3) We already have the LIDO charts we can use in the excellent FS2024 flightplanner 4) It would be free Do you think we could achieve this in a near future? At the very least, we could let the user decide whether to use Navigraph or the FS2024 database, which I believe this one is the optimal choice. I'd love to hear your thoughts on this.

Thanks, this is why I keep thw traffic separated: AIG for p3d with FSHud and FSLTL for FS2924 with BATC.

Ok, I solved. AIG package for p3d is not under my fs2024 community folder, that's the problem. I downloaded AIG model for p3d and and installed with AI Manger on the root of my I:\ disk. I don't know if the p3d models are compatible with fs2024, I remeber they aren't. So downloaded the FSLTL models under fs2024 community folder and works perfectly. I could use the same AIG modem also for fs2024 but, as said before, I thinks models packages for p3d are not compatible with fs2024. Again stand with BATC wiki is better to use FSLTL insted of AIG. What do you think?

Does anyone use AIG Traffic along side BeyondATC and FS2024? As an example in P3D: I've downloaded many airlines packages via AI Manager by AIG and use these models without problem in P3D with FSHud. FSHud inject traffic in P3D using AIG models and works perfectly. I'd like to do the same in FS2024: using AIG models with BeyondATC, so In BeyondATC I set AIG as first choiche in "traffic option" but I get always the prompt to install FSTLT base models (I have to download about 7.3 GB of AI traffic models). Why I have to use another model package if I can use AIG one? In BeyondATC there no choice to chose the folder where AI packages are installed, but ony the option to choose from FSLTL, AIG or MSFS2024. Any ideas?
