Radar Contact's very poor judgement on runways assigned

Featured Replies

Hi Blais, Been gone fishing lately and dropped in, only to see you're in good hands. ;-) Like you've heard, the menu's for Ver 3 are simplicity itself, the number of options is mind boggling. Learning how to run the RC program isn't too bad, it's learning all the FAA regs that takes some study! RC watches everything...LOL Welcome aboard and ask away if you have questions.Best regards,Rob

http://avsim.com/flightdeck/images/Radar_small.gifBeta tester for http://www.jdtllc.com' target="_blank">Radar Contact] the premier ATC adventure add-on for FS

>when exporting from fsnav, during the export process a >screen will appear with runways on the left side box, or >right side box, i forget. do not move runways from the left >to the right, or the right to the left. just click next... I know this is in the documentation, but I find that this is the simplest way to remove those runways unused in practice (where I know them). This is particularly useful at airports like Gatwick which can only operate single runway. I don't have to worry about changing the assignment.I always generate the plan in FS Manager then input into FSNav for the actual flight, save the .fsn then delete the STAR up to a common point (not an official transition) before exporting to RC. That way I can conveniently fly whatever SID I want (according to winds and runway) and not have to bother with close-in fixes.

Hello, I simply say Thank You to all the folks who went out of their way to help me when I was bogged down. My RC in combination with my other FS related add-ons are doing great. I do look forward to V3. Off to my first trip, ever, south of the border.
