Should flying cars become commonplace, it will certainly be wild.  Drivers today seem to be pretty poor at 2D navigation, flying requires 3D navigation, quite a bit more complexity.

The price will hold them back. Still they have quite a lot of preorders. They're talking about "a few hours" training is all that is required. Teenagers flying up and down mainstreet, showing off, joy riding.

Imagine a mix of conventional cars and flying cars during rush hour in Los Angeles...especially in the vicinity of the approaches to LAX.  Better order more ambulances and EMTs.

The tires are worn.  The shocks are shot.  The steering is wobbly.  But the engine still runs fine.

I can already see the "air rage" incidents.  Aerial bumper cars, not pretty.  Like Noel said, "Better order more ambulances and EMTs."

I'd rather have a jet pack for fair weather.
