Featured Replies

Hi Everybody,

Just finished updating to the latest beta from L/R released to day and I've taken a hit in performance. Very slow loading up with this update.

Do you suffer a hit in ingame performance (frame rate) or are you complaining about slow loading? Those two are very different issues.

I suffer from both slow loading and a hit in performance.

X-Plane 12 is now painfully slow at loading up, one would think I'm on an old 386 computer!

Sounds like an out of date plugin.  Try a 2nd install of the demo with no scenery and see if the problem is still there.

I dont have any scenery addons or scripts that run on start up, hence the reason I have no issues, Id be terrified to look at his log. seen some really bad ones, competition to see who can add the most scenry ( out of date )without breaking xplane.

My record, when doing add on support, was a log file that was 3MB in size.  That one was quite an accomplishment.

Only run one plugin on my visual computers I keep them as clean as I can, I only run Flywithlua to reduce the haze. Log file is clean. I also notice if I jump from lets say somewhere in the states to Paris LFP at night, I get a black screen.

Problem is they could be the cause of your issue. Its not only plugins. And you are the only one who can test it.

Try disabling this and see if it makes a difference. It sounds like this might be the problem
