So i have the ms store version

And i want to install it on E drive

Thou it wants to install on c/x box games

I dont want that.

Do i choose folder for your games E??

Select a folder and name it ms2024?

Seems a little different to ms2020

Thanks

Mike

You can create a folder with any name you wish on any drive you choose and point the installer to that folder as long as the drive has enough free space.

Best option for me:

- let it install to default under C :, which is something like

C:\Users\[USERNAME]\AppData\Local\Packages\Microsoft.Limitless_8wekyb3d8bbwe\LocalCache\Packages

   for the Store version for PC;

- start it a first time so that it populates the default  folders:

- change the location of the Packages folder to your E: by editing UserCfg.opt last line... :

InstalledPackagesPath "E:\MSFS\Packages"

- Create a "E:\MSFS" and copy the full "Packages" folder from the default location into there.

After doing this I even delete all of the contents of the original "Packages" folder, but not the folder itself under the original "LocalCache"...
