I tried SU16 and can't revert back to SU15 now?

Featured Replies

I deleted the BETA from steam settings, and reinstalled the whole game. I have now version 1.38.2.0,   but I still have TLOD value from 0-400 and it seems to be the SU16 map textures etc?  I think the normal version has only TLOD max 200, right? How to fully revert back, this is totally broken! I want to get back to SU15 before SU16 comes and sends me to Xplane 12!!

You can revert from the SU16 beta I suppose (never been before in those betas), but once SU16 it's released there's no way to go back.

Hopefully SU16 it's not released with those broken textures. In that case, the Map Enhancement Tool could be a solution, but not with the new Bing Maps, but using Google Maps or any of the existing paid map versions.

Cheers, Ed

Thanks, I hope that too!

My problem is that for some reason It didnt fukly revert back to SU15, or atleast thats what I think. In msfs2020, do you have TLOD factor from 0-400? Because I thought thats only in SU16, and it seems to be still on my MSFS2020. And I have 1.38.2.0 version, so i think it has somehow bugged. I have reinstalled the game so its very weird.

I had it until yesterday, but I'm using an utility to modify the graphics settings using P42's Flow Pro. Will check today.

Cheers, Ed

The TLOD range in MSFS 2020 has (as far as I am aware) always been 0-400. At least, it has been since I started using it in November 2023. My TLOD has been set at 250 for all of that time.

For some reason I had the beta still on, now it reverted on second reinstall when I deleted every file from the PC. The TLOD thing I thought its been 0-200 but maybe I was just wrong lol!

Always been up to 400

I can go up to 400 (using a sim settings utility in Flow Pro, that changes it live without going to the main sim menu).

Now waiting what we'll see and to expect when SU16 is officially released (when it's released, nobody knows). In the meantime, trying to still enjoy SU15 as much as possible, while it lasts.
