TFDI MD-11 cockpit overhead light?

Featured Replies

I've searched their docs, looked around the cockpit, and I cannot figure out how to turn off the rearward cockpit light, it makes the whole thing too bright during a night flight. All the controls I've found are just for fine control of the panels etc, but please tell me there's a way to turn this off?? It also isn't the "Dome" light.

Thanks,

I don't have straight answer but i recommend this channel, there's plenty of information about MD-11

Cycle the light switches from their current position all the way to the other end, whichever ones have an on/off switch. If something is off, cycle it all the way to on and then back off. There isn't a particular one that causes the bug but cycling them (like the emergency lights, dome, etc) will fix it.

It's a bug from not being compatible with FS2024.

Really appreciate the replies, I'll try this later today.

BTW, I really hope they add an offically supported 2024 version soon, this is almost making me think of just flyiing it in 2020 🙂  I did complete a flight last night, everything worked, I'm actually quite pleased with the plane, these are the fine points.

Cheers,
