What is the current status of updating the AI models?

Featured Replies

I've been out of touch for a bit. What's the current status of getting the landing gear/lights to show up on the AI models?

For which Sim. Right now AIG is not working with 2024 SU2 bata. They are aware of it and working on solution. 2020 AIG is loading fine.

You don’t mention AIG, but if that’s what you’re using, download the latest version of AI manager https://github.com/Kaiii3/AIGTech-AIManager-beta/releases/latest

I have AIG 2020 which does have a drop down MSFS2024 but its not compatibel it says.

Am i right in that you can copy your oci beta to MSFS 2024 and install latest Beta manager? Traffic controller and flightplans is not working so only models and traffic slider inside MSFS2024?

Thanks Michael Moe

Nothing will happen to your 2020 install, it will continue to work as it normally has. If you're running 2024 SU1, then follow the instructions on the AIG from the AIG forum to setup AIG in 2024. There are 2 different AIG managers, so make sure you're using the correct one for the sim you want to inject AI into.

Yep, I was primarily asking about AIG and thank you for pointing me to the installer. I now removed the 2020 OCI directory and am in the process of installing everything from the BETA installer.

Question for anyone using BATC traffic. Do you all prioritize AIG at the top and FSLTL models second in your configs?

I think i will pass as the forum talking only about replacing  existing Manager and copy files.

I will wait for a 2024 release

Hm, I don't think you really had to remove the entire 2020 OCI directory and download everything from scratch again... When I switched to MSFS2024 I simply 1. downloaded the beta of the AIG manager, 2. copied the AIG files to the correct folder and 3. IIRC ran the manager to update a few things. No need to download everything all over again. But well, it won't hurt. 😉

And I only have AIG installed with BATC: I see no need to also download and install FSLTL. AIG has thousands (literary!) more liveries and models than FSLTL so imho FSLTL is only worth the trouble if you do not want to install AIG. AIG makes all other similar addons redundant.
