January 18, 20251 yr I set monitor to go to sleep when not in use. On my previous PC MSFS 2020/2024 would keep it on even with no keyboard / joystick input. My new system does not. Is there a setting somewhere I can adjust? Thanks.

January 18, 20251 yr Author I am not trying to turn off sleep mode, I just don't want it to activate while MSFS is running. As I said, my previous PC would not go to sleep if MSFS was running even if I had no peripheral input for long periods of time.
January 18, 20251 yr I decided not long ago to stop using Sleep or Hibernation modes on my sim desktop on Windows 10, simply because they both didn't work well. Sometimes they caused trouble when leaving to normal mode and had to reboot the PC frequently. Now, if I have to leave the PC after a flight and expect not to use it for several hours I prefer to turn it off. January 18, 20251 yr My keyboard has a sleep button on it, so I disabled the automatic sleep feature in Windows. When I'm done using the computer, I turn off the light over the desk, hit the sleep button, and walk away.
