Probably some thieves working for Pimax or the shipping company. I don't think Pimax as a company would do that.

I caught my mailman on camera stealing my packages.

Ebay customers are notorious for that kind of thing, from what I read. Reporting empty boxes, and sending boxes of rocks back, etc... I had a camera posted for sale on there, and I had buyers from around the world offering more than I was asking for. Huge red flag.

The headset is becoming a hot commodity.  You can't blame Pimax for this.  I got mine without issue.

In the Pimax Discord, customer support is now requesting anyone who received an empty box reply with their order number, tracking number, etc. They will then add them to the list...

I gotta say, the customer service in the Pimax Discord is very good. They communicate well and are on top of things.

However, the logistics side, is difficult to work with. They do not respond quickly to tickets created for shipping information (I experienced this first hand).

This reminds me of WingWin customer service, it sucks. I ordered one of their HOTAS and their shipping company made one attempt at delivery and returned it. WingWin tried billing me for the failed shipping and wanted me to reorder, hard pass. The phrase 'you are your own worst enemy' comes to mind.

I gotta say, the customer service in the Pimax Discord is very good. They communicate well and are on top of things.

However, the logistics side, is difficult to work with. They do not respond quickly to tickets created for shipping information (I experienced this first hand).

I think the demand for this headset got away from them.  Time to ramp up production and hire more staff.
