  • Just an observation.  Yes, almost all of live departing, arriving and taxiing aircrafts are without landing gears at the start of PSXT session, however after 2-5 minutes of PSXT running, a new influx

  • I also have not had any issues with the landing gear in the most recent versions. I'm using AIG models and have been all over, at both large and small airports.

for test purposes, i put my plane to eddf and eham, where the landing planes arrive with the landing gear extended. they also fly the approach properly. in chania and heraklion, the planes arrive quite high and only above the runway do they sink to the ground very quickly. does this have anything to do with the data quality?

Do the landing gear appear as you get closer to the aircraft? There's a longstanding bug related to the LOD draw distance of the landing gear. Simulator issue, not specific to PSXT

If your issue is present all the time, and if you're using AIG models, you may be missing on of the folders from you Community folder.

Yes, data quality seems to be the reason for these issues. They can appear, unfortunately, most anywhere, and seek to be tied to the barometric pressure data being too high or too low.

Don't think so. Landing gear is lowered if less then 2000 ft above ground. Barometric pressure errors cannot be responsible for 2000 ft difference (at most 30 * 30 = 900 ft).

Yes poor data quality, not a barometric pressure issue.

Hello Nico,

i was in malta earlier, everything was fine. i flew over to catania and there the landing planes arrive again without landing gear. can't you install an option so that the planes extend the landing gear after landing? you've done something similar before, haven't you?

I will give these (normally redundant) gear commands again, when touching the ground, and in the landing roll. That will cover it. Available in the next version.

Hello Nico,

• More redundant calls to lower gear, to fix problems with landings without landing gear down.

in version 8.0.1 the landing gear is still not extended when landing and taxing to the gate

I see, then the aircraft have not touched the ground and are floating... I'll add a call during flare as well

Hello Nico,
I have now checked EDDF, with version 8.0.1 the airplanes have no landing gear out on approach but after landing they do, strange. In EDDM the same, approach without landing gear, only after landing the landing gear extends.
With version 8.0.0 this was not the case in EDDF and EDDM.

My mistake, that stament (landing gear down) was moved from approach to ground instead of copied...

Go tpo 8.0.3
