Berlin in 1935

Featured Replies

Luckily we don’t have to live in the 1930s in Berlin, but it is nice to fly around in this era, when the surroundings have been adjusted accordingly, meaning no high-rises or tall TV towers, when there weren’t any in the 1930s

Wonderful atmosphere in these shots. Wish I could linger and walk around some more.

Best holiday wishes to you also, Bernd. 🙂

Berlin would have been one of the very best places in the world to live if until about 1935

Awesome shots Bernd! 😉

Wonderful to see these Period recreations in the SIM, Bernd, although folks have been talking about such, in the old SIMs too ...

Beautiful pictures and great ambience in your screenshots, here ...!!

Wish you the best, too, for Christmas and New Year...!

Lovely shots Bernd, and thanks for posting them. I'd been looking at the sample shots for the products and although I love the idea I wasn't convinced, but you just convinced me. Or to put it another way, cost me another bundle at the marketplace!

Especially with the addons linker it should be easy to set up a whole 1935 experience with one click, and Redwing look like they have lots of stuff planned in this environment.

I now await the appearance of the "Jetson's - MSFS 2050" range.

Ryzen 9 7900X, Corsair H150 AIO cooler, 64 Gb DDR5, Asus X670E Hero m/b, 3090ti, 13Tb NVMe, 8Tb SSD, 16Tb HD, 55" Philips 4k HDR monitor, EVGA 1600w ps, all in Corsair 7000D airflow case. Sims in use - 2020, 2024, XP-12 and -11, FSX/SE, P3Dv4.5 and v5.4. DCS and AFS2 installed but rarely used

I fully agree, my dad studied law in Berlin from 1931 to 1934. He always said that these were some of the best years he had in his life 🙂

The add-on linker was one of the best creations for MSFS

I think so too. The other day I did a 1935 French mail flight from Spain into Morocco and then down the Atlantic coast, city hopping, so to speak. Just awesome!

Even after the wall came down it was fantastic. I lived there for a good 6 months and was there at the Brandenburg Gate for the 10th anniversary party for the wall coming down. If things keep going the way they are in Europe today I fear that bombs will be raining down once again some day. Except bigger one. There'll be nothing left!😭

Probably better the '30's than the mid '40's.

Nice setup, nice shots - much appreciated!

Now all you need is a proper representation of the fantastic buildings of Tempelhof airport. What a construction (I bet you have seen it, Bernd).
