This point did not register to me until I waded though the heated rhetoric. To summarize mSparks various statements- when you do a video or screenshot capture, it is taken from the OS or in special cases the GPU memory. So, if others cannot see an issue in a posted image/video, the problem is not widely bothersome, or is downstream- GPU output to HDMI/Displayport, video cable, monitor. To share the actual end result, you would have to take a picture or video of the monitor screen which unfortunately is not easy to do cleanly.
June 4, 20233 yr Quote when you do a video or screenshot capture, it is taken from the OS or in special cases the GPU memory. And that's the correct way to do it since it eliminates the way the monitor displays the image. You can't "not see" something that has been recorded since that recording is "set in stone". It might look different on different displays but the artifacts that have been captured are still there and can be seen. But this is just another case of x-plane apologists dissecting every minute detail to say "well it's not xplane". Any sane person would just say "yeah, I can see the jagged lines, let's get Laminar to fix it", but they just prefer to go around the issue until everyone else gives up. Setup: RX6800 | 5800X3D + B450 | 32GB 3200MHz | X-Plane 12
