I find the pointy nose of the DA-42/62 reminiscent of a cartoon witch's nose and is off-putting to me. But different aesthetic taste is what makes the world go around. Thankfully, both models are available to us. FWIW, I *do* have Aerobask's DA-42 as well and it's also an excellent model. Just not as nice looking as the DA-50! Whichever one you decide to go with (if you opt to buy one), I don't think you'll be disappointed.
