October 6, 20223 yr Is 300 Mhz increase over the base 5.7 Ghz even noticeable? That would be only about a 5% increase over the base clock. Would the increased power draw be worth it? I would think IPCs be more of an indicator of our sim's performance. And BTW, check this out -- https://wccftech.com/amd-ryzen-9-7950x-cpu-showcases-its-efficiency-prowess-with-6-5-ghz-overclock-just-270w-power-consumption/ Gigabyte x670 Aorus Elite AX MB; AMD 7800X3D CPU; Deepcool LT520 AIO Cooler; 64 Gb G.Skill Trident Z5 NEO DDR5 6000; Win11 Pro; P3D V5.4; 1 Samsung 990 2Tb NVMe SSD: 1 Crucial 4Tb MX500 SATA SSD; 1 Samsung 860 1Tb SSD; Gigabyte Aorus Extreme 1080ti 11Gb VRAM; Toshiba 43" LED TV @ 4k; Honeycomb Bravo.

What's hilarious is that that 2 core voltage is from the stock VF curve...got to trust intel, right? November 24, 20223 yr Author Cooling is now the most important factor for Intel and AMD CPUs, That`s why AMD don`t include a cooler. With custom cooling you can maintain over 5.4ghz. Also case cooling is important. (1) Incredible Intel | i7 13700K & i9 13900K Overclocking, Memory Tuning & Benchmarking Review - YouTube Raymond Fry.
