It just makes the Orbx airports that I bought for just a dollar more in most cases all that much more impressive. I really had forgotten how much I liked Orbx airports until recent sales. I'm not really too terribly disappointed with YPPF. I just don't know why the runways/taxiways weren't updated. | Dave | I've been around for most of my life. There's always a sunset happening somewhere in the world that somebody is enjoying.

February 5, 20224 yr As one who lives right next to that airport the most disappointing thing to me is the surrounding buildings. I know they were not covered by the YPPF purchase but I do wish someone could do something to make the area look a bit more realistic. There are no 3 or 4 story buildings around it for a start, just a big Bunnings and Office works and warehouse sized ones.
February 5, 20224 yr For Australia the Lord Howe scenery is great, especially because it includes Ball's pyramid. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ball's_Pyramid

Imagine stooging around VCY Lord Howe and popping out of cloud to be greeted by this guy right in front of you! Pilot: "We're in the stickiest situation since Sticky the Stick Insect got stuck on a sticky bun." That was a Blackadder quote of course but related to the interesting story in that Wiki article about the stick insects on Ball Pyramid. Cheers Terry No. No, Mav, this is not a good idea. I also want add YPAD and the 2 Tasmania airports by NZAS. My only concern is performance. I read that the NZAS airports were hard on fps. It could just be the cumulative effect.
