January 1, 20224 yr Everything is going too great.. And 5 min before I begin my descent for approach MSFS starts getting really crappy frame rates. And a couple min later boom, im looking at my desktop. How prevalent have CTD been for you guys on MSFS?

January 1, 20224 yr No, I don´t think. In my case there is fault 0xc0000005 from flightsimulator.exe. This is the standard-error for CTD. They try to fix it, its better over the time, but not perfect. This coud be sometimes also from Mods. If this not happend more then once a week-everything is ok on my side. Today it happens after I write the first answer (The revange of the little Ming), but it comes from the mod "Welcome in Kabul". So I know I had to delete it 😉 Edited January 1, 20224 yr by sal9000 Stephan from Germany My System

The only thing I have introduced into the simulator raw state is pmdg's dc-6. And you know their payware is usually pretty flawless. But who knows..

January 1, 20224 yr My first thought is always heat, so check your temps. Also, the latest Nvidia driver is said to fix some of the causes of CTDs Ryzen 5800X3D, Nvidia RTX5080 - 32 Gig DDR4 RAM, 1TB & 2 TB NVME drives - Windows 11 64 bit MSFS 2024 Premium Deluxe Edition Resolution 2560 x 1440 (32 inch curved monitor)

I checked the nvidia geoforce experience update manager and I did not have an updated dated 12/20/21. I'm getting that now. Thank you for the response and I hope this helps in the future.

January 2, 20224 yr My 'puter is also 4. Happy Birthday! I would try a clean install of your graphics driver using DDU. Then remove any unnecessary programs from your PC (such as Norton antivirus etc.). I hope you can fix this man.
