I wouldn't grade fluidity for better or worse, based on compressed internet videos.

I wonder if there will be a swap page on Avsim,  trade , one slightly used gaming PC plus cash for a an X box  X model.

Never thought I would see the day when you could spend $500 and run a flight sim on max settings without worrying about FPS. Job well done.

I never thought I'd see the day when MSFS runs smoothly on a PC without worrying about FPS.  And I still haven't.

Mine runs smooth as silk, and I almost never check FPS, and the few times I do it is always locked to 30.

wait till July 27th.

even now everybody can enjoy smooth flying MSFS, thats what all those sliders are for. mine are pretty much all at max settings @ 4k resolution. MSFS is the first flightsim I could live with forever, I never felt that way with any other sim, and I had them all.

Obviously some degradation in the sim visually has to have come from somewhere!  Whether it’s the visuals lod or AI traffic remains to be seen... Nothing comes for free!

Wonder if it has anything to do with D3D 12? Wasn't that what they were working on for the Xbox's?

I don't know how... I have a pretty decent rig... running 1440P... and 30 FPS in rural areas... like 10 FPS in a place like Paris... or any built up area. Running high settings.

So it appears that one flys MSFS from an exterior view... Show us a video from inside the cockpit (from where I would have thought one would fly a simulator) showing the instruments ,glass screens and all, and then see what the FPS and or smoothness is.🤨

Wow you get to control both the hardware and the software! 🍀
