If you downloaded the dev master branch, you need to pull out the A32NX subfolder and drop that in the community folder.  The other stuff is for developing on the project.  The main overall folder with everything in it is not the right folder level.

Do I dump this a32nx-master or leave that also

You only need the A32NX folder, the rest is junk unless you're trying to help develop it

Got it to work they did a great job only thing was I had no heading line on pfd - Im still getting my head around controller assignments and such so Ill figure it out - cold start takes to much time right now

I can also try pre made flight plan in sim see how that works

Pre-made will work, you still have to wait for the IRS alignment but you can have a plan in and waiting.  You can also load a .pln file after loading in.  It acts like it's looking for .flt files to load a saved flight but you can type in <plan-name.pln> and it will load it anyway.  Just be aware if it's a plan you created in simbrief or navigraph it may blow out your SID/STAR choices with its own.  I was testing this a little bit ago.  Learned part of it was it didn't want to let me use the transitions that Navigraph used for the approach and I'm not sure what happened with the SID but I was able to fix it to the same rwy and transition as my navigraph plan after it loaded.  I had to select a runway first.  It didn't try to wipe out the points in the middle however like the flight planning screen does and you can then file the IFR plan with the AI ATC if  you want from there.  Of course if you're flying Vatsim or something then that's different.  Be aware then though you might have to go tweak your plan you were going to file with them to match what the sim allows you to choose for transitions and such.  Hopefully we can get a nav data update officially to fix things up a bit, or the Navigraph beta for MSFS will fix it.

How do you guys load in a flightplan in this bird?

Creating a flightplan in the menu does work for me, or at least the flightplan is not loaded in the FMC.

It is not sufficiently detailed enough to create a flightplan within the FMC itself (as far as I am concerned).

I use SimBrief to construct a flight plan. Then use the SimBrief export program to export it to MSFS. Then from the MSFS planner simply load in the SimBrief plan. All waypoints are subsequently loaded.

It's a .pln format.

Regarding the SID and STAR you can use the MSFS planner to input them before you board the aircraft. Or once your aboard and the ADIRS are up, you can select departure and arrival and edit the plan. But the SID and STAR should be in place.

All FMS and Garmin's seem to have a bug in that you can't Dirto when underway, especially when in the STAR. I believe they are aware of this?

Cheers.

It's broke at the moment unfortunately after the patch 😞. More info on their github https://github.com/flybywiresim/a32nx/issues/964
