August 19, 20205 yr Thought I throw this out there for those who are interested in learning more about the AI traffic...it is surprisingly not good and just weird. With AI traffic on 100%, I am at a normally busy Logan International Airport (KBOS) at 3 oclock in the afternoon and most planes are parked and not moving. The ones that were moving stopped moving at some random locations on the airport and some just disappeared. I have seen very few planes actually flying in the air. AI planes bounce up and down while taxing like if there were speed bumps on the taxiway. Also, the wheels don't move when they taxi. But hey, that is the default generic AI planes. Can't ask for much on those. I'm sure Asobo and the community will work to improve the AI down the road 🙂 Edited August 19, 20205 yr by Chrism6285
August 19, 20205 yr I agree they are definitely underwhelming but like yourself it is not an issue for me. Looking forward to what Asobo or the community bring in the future. August 19, 20205 yr I had an ATC conflict alert at 31,000 feet earlier, with ATC telling a Ryanair 737 it was 10,000 feet above its assigned altitude lol. I did like the depiction of the nav lights on it as it went past me, but I suspect if something was ignoring a 10,000 foot level bust over Southern England right near London, it probably would have had a couple of RAF Eurofighter Typhoons on its @rse. 🤣 Edited August 19, 20205 yr by Chock Alan Bradbury Check out my youtube flight sim videos: Here
August 19, 20205 yr I agree, I was really hoping for a better ai system and hopefully it will come. I hope and pray super traffic board can be updated to work. Without it I can't even follow a plane on arrival. I appreciate the live traffic option but I can't do much with it yet but look at the aircraft label. Glad I did not have to delete my P3D because I would not be able to spot like that in msfs. The only things I want is add on ai traffic with liveries like aigm oci and super traffic board to watch. Did you know there is a way to follow the user plane from gate to gate. It's something called ai control and it flies your plane for you. Hopefully that can be expanded because that is pretty cool.
