They've never stated it will be a launch title, only that it's coming to Xbox some time after PCs. Some people have suggested or predicted it will be a launch title, but this is just a guess right now.
January 14, 20206 yr I'll certainty be the first in line for an Xbox Series X as I have been since the first machine and everyone since. I enjoy all genres of games not just simming. I've also been a gamepass subscriber since day one on Xbox and now PC. It's a great service and if FS ( which i'm downloading as I type and have been using since the Sublogic days ) is included then all the better. Play on Xbox and PC ? Yes please ! We know it's going to come to console eventually but i don't think we've had confirmations on which version(s) exactly. https://www.xbox.com/en-US/games/microsoft-flight-simulator No doubt it will be in the Xbox Series X but the question is, which console will it be made for.

January 14, 20206 yr Last time they talked about this, they said it's coming to the "Xbox One family". They haven't been specific regarding the consoles.
January 14, 20206 yr I think they’ve already said that series x won’t have any exclusives at launch. This might be counted as an exclusive, though I’m not sure whether they would count first party dual pc/ Xbox games as ‘system’ exclusives or not.
January 14, 20206 yr Also, aside from the semantics in my previous post I would say it’s incredibly unlikely this will be ready for series x at launch given all they’ve said about the Xbox version coming later, and the pc version still being anywhere up to 50 weeks away from release.
January 16, 20206 yr Halo is in development for the launch of the new XBOX and the back catalogue has been remastered for PC Games Pass available now. As for steam and MSFS some titles are not being ported to steam I have been reading the new GTA will not come to steam and others are hosting their own. https://www.guru3d.com/news-story/epic-games-store-has-more-than-100m-users.html Raymond Fry.
August 15, 20205 yr This is exactly what I'm wondering about. My biggest problem with the pc is about after a few pc updates, and a few Flight Sim updates, the program is no longer stable or runs very slow. Every flight sim I've ever used with every computer I've ever used would get slower and slower until you HAD to upgrade one of both. I'm wondering if by getting the X-Box, the sim would be more stable for a longer period of time, if not indefinitely. This may not be a good analogy but I have a Nintendo 64 that I can play Mario 64 on. When I play that game, it plays exactly like it did when I first pulled it out of the box. I'm sure you will be able to do much more with the sim on a pc but for me personally, as long as I can navigate with real wold instruments and see beautiful scenery Thats all I'm asking for. I have always HATED tweaking this and that, to get the computer to work right. I would think (and hope) that the console would be a lot easier to use. I have always said that to be a flight simmer, you had to be more of a computer geek than a pilot. I just want to be a pilot. If my thoughts on the console are correct, I will definitely be buying the Xbox
