RXP GTN 750/650 Touch X-Plane v2.4.13 Released

Featured Replies

Hi, I'm pleased to announce v2.4.13 is now released!

It is available either via Plugin | Reality XP GTN | Check Updates... or directly from our web site.

In this update:

  • New: Added support for the latest GTN Trainer v6.41.1
  • Enhanced: Using Ryan 9900BX TCAD with 3rd party AI traffic scans all available MP datarefs.
  • Enhanced: Option to limit number of AI traffic to actual X-Plane count (as in previous versions).
  • Enhanced: Further stability and performance enhancements.

Note about AI Traffic:

Previous versions used to only scan up to the number of AI traffic set in X-Plane preferences. This version scans all available multiplayer datarefs instead, with some heuristic to reject what looks like non-used MP slots (there are 19 sets of MP datarefs). You can restore previous versions operating mode in enabling the added 'Gauge Options | Advanced | Use Simulator AI Traffic Count" option.

Should I update the Trainer first to v6.41.1 before updating to v2.4.13 or will it do it automatic.?

Hi, whichever should work fine. The RXP installer shall prompt you of a new trainer available, and as a matter of fact, you might want to first run the RXP installer and let me know if it prompts you or not? (just to cross check we haven't let another bug slip into the installer).

Downloaded the new install and getting a virus warning from it.

Says it contains  Trojan:Win32/Azden.A!cI

This is happening from Windows Defender.

Thanks, I went ahead and excluded the folders where I extract them too and the C:\Reality-XP folder. I was able to install it after that.

Hi Jean-Luc. Will not install . I get the following error: Error with rxpGTN.  Cannot toggle (parts of) plugin.  Maybe it is (partly) removed?

RXP Plug in does not show up in the plug in menu in Xplane.

Thanks,  Howard

Hi, is this literally the error message that gets displayed? Is this an X-Plane popup window?

(I've never seen any such message before).

What do the RXP log files say?

That is a message in xOrganizer, which starts XPlane.

I am reinstalling again to see what happens. Please let me know again where I can find the log files.

I will get back to you after i reinstall and let you know.

Thanks,  Howard

ok, all seems fine, but what about just starting XPlane normally, not via any other 3rd party application?

OK.  The reinstall and doing a normal start seam to be working fine, so far.

Thanks again,  Howard

Okay, finally got around to updating. Updated trainer first then GNS 430/530, GTN 650/750 and all looks to be working using XP11.11.
