March 7, 20179 yr Here's a YouTube video showing what Google Earth VR looks like using Oculus Rift and Touch controllers. I've played around with it quite a bit myself and find it absolutely amazing, being able to go anywhere in the world with the sensation you're there IRL. Of course you can check out famous landmarks, cities, buildings etc and experience places you only dreamed of visiting before but personally I find checking out airports and their surroundings might be the coolest thing. Both airports I've been to IRL or in the simulator but also to check out airports I plan to get where I'm able to compare the product with what it looks like IRL before buying it. It's free via Steam so if you haven't already tried it out I highly recommend it! Edited to add another short video showing how to fool Google Earth VR into thinking your Oculus Rift is an HTC Vive since Google Earth VR was developed for HTC Vive.
