Lear 35A European Repaints

Featured Replies

Hi All,

I would wish to have access to European repaints of these wonderful plane.

There is a German Air Ambulance livery availble and a video in this forum shows a nice, red English one,

but I don't know where to download.

There are/were more of this great plane in England , Germany, Switzerland, etc.

A big Thank You in advance to all repainters to realise some Eurpean liveries!

Hello Ernst.

The Red Learjet in my video is done using two freeware paint utilities, dxt.bmp and paint.net.

You can repaint the aircraft and as long as its for your own personal use, there is no copyright issue.

Using the two programs above, its fairly straight forward to repaint any aircraft. Just make a copy of the original if you make a mistake!

There is, I think, also a paint kit available on the Flysimware site, but I havn't used it myself.

Best regards,

David

Hi Folks,

Oh - forgot to do that on my paints - I usually leave an unmarked set so people can easily tag it with any reg numbers they want - I'll start doing that again...

Regards,

Scott

Hi David

Thanks for your tips in doing repaints myself.

Years ago I've tried to do a repaint for a Pilatus PC-12 from Flight1 and never got it working. I don't remember the software I used.

I am really going to try your suggested 2 utilities for my own purposes.

Thanks again and best regards

Hi Mitch

Great repaint!

I remember this plane very well, when it was part of Swiss Air Rescue!

For a week or so I tried repainting myself (Gimp etc), but just got weird results.

Is your repaint downloadable somewhere?

Thanks for reverting to this thread

Best regards
