FTX Global/Vector looks different in P3D

Hi,

be77solo, I made a flight yesterday and it looks exactly the same as yours. Part of the difference is season, while the OP choose Fall (I think) you choose summer like me. In my case this was with FTX Global, HD Trees, OpenLC Canada (how far South does it go?), FTX Vector and Ultimate Mesh.

However, I noticed extended wood to the North of KSAW which I don't see on the OPs P3D shot where the background is free of wood up to Lake Superior.

I am not quite sure how to judge this.

Kind regards, Michael

Thanks for trying this out. In fact, I did have summer selected (It was 03 September in sim when I tried this out), but I just looked again on both the default summer date (6/21) and the current date, and both times saw a wooded area north of the airport just like be77solo's photo (I guess I was too low in altitude with my settings set too low for it to be visible in my OP). So, there appears to be nothing wrong with my install, P3Ds default landclass is just less realistic than FSXs for whatever reason. Thanks again for helping me solve this, though. So, to ask about UTX again, is there a way to just use its landclass without the road and texture corrections? Or is there a different product that updates the landclass to tide me over until openLC US is released?
