April 1, 201511 yr You really should read posts more carefully yourself before you criticise others for not reading them. The OP did not mention FSX at all, let alone explicity. Everything after that is your interpretation, and as we have seen before, what you think someone elses has said often differs from reality. No indeed he does not. However he does explicitly mention a number of addons he wants to run that only run on FSX. If he want's to run those he has to run FSX. They aren't available on X-Plane. Logic clearly isn't your strong point.
April 2, 201511 yr Logic clearly isn't your strong point. And memory isn't yours. Those points have already been addressed. Paul Smith.
April 2, 201511 yr Am I the only one who finds this petty bickering out of place in this thread and forum? Perhaps you two could have some consideration for your fellow members here and conduct your spat in private rather than clog this thread with it. Andy Lawton
April 2, 201511 yr Wait.. and that really works. VAS is per program I thought> So p3d has 4 gb vas.. ASN has 4gb vas etc.. right? No, this is entirely incorrect. You can operate Photoshop, stream a HD movie in VLC and render a movie with Adobe After Effects and it would NOT affect the VAS usage of P3D. P3D "only" has 4 GB to play with because of its 32-bit nature. Actually, I think its been said by a representative of HiFi that ASN does not contribute to VAS usage at all. Its the textures that are being injected into the sim, by for instance REX, that takes it toll on memory usage. Brynjar Mauseth
