In my FSX.cfg, under the GRAPHIC section I have a line: TEXTURE_MAX_LOAD = 1024. The resolution in my FSX settings is set to 1024 X 768 X 32. Is there other place where it could be set differently?

I think Ryan(Tabs) said that the TML setting of 1024, 2048, or 4096 doesnt effect aircraft texture loading, it only effects scenery, water and cloud resolution.

For a/c you need to manually resize textures.

Hi, Felipe,

Glad to be of help!

Just want to add that you may need to resize some textures in the shared texture folder "texture.common200LR".  There is also a shared folder called "texture.vc" but that shouldn't affect the external textures.  I'm really not sure on all this as I haven't resized the T7 textures to eliminate the delayed load.  It just doesn't bother me very much and I do sometimes like to zoom in close.

You will need to experiment with saving in different sizes.  You probably need to save with a "DDS" extension so the textures will be recognized.  Please report back whether you have had any success.

Mike
