The C90 - I got to love this aircraft!

Featured Replies

Magna cum laude for C90. My first payware and I'm afraid to buy anything else and find it not on par with this amazing plane. The engine sound coming down from full throttle is so cool. Flight model ...perfect a joy to fly. And still I have to learn anything connected to engine start to add realism.

It's just that everytime I run this plane with the purpose to study avionics and systems I end up just enjoying pure flying. A must have for me.

And XP10 coupled with this...no word to explain. I cannot stop thinking "how the hell I could stick with old FSX ignoring this beauty".

This aircraft should be given the "Most Immersive, Realistic and Enjoyable General Aviation Aircraft in FS History" Award.

5 Stars! A must have!

10 out of 10!

Is the navigation system on the C90 similar to the FSX/Prepar3D version (which I have and love)? I picked up the X-Plane version of CT210M and was pretty disappointed with the nav. If the C90 is comparable to FSX, I would love to pick it up.

you can navigate vor / vor or gps, but only direct to. What I do is program the sid (or most of the time the entire FP up to the star) in plan G and export it to XP, then I have assigned a key to the "load fp" function and load it into the gps so it flies the entire route.

Ofc, as soon as you transfer from approach they "help" you by giving you a shortcut direct to a waypoint, screwing up your flightplan ;) (online flying)

The vor / vor nav is also sweet to practice, but time consuming before and while flying due to the lack of nav beacons on most points of the route. I fly online mostly so I just import a FP into the gps. After the star you get vectored and don't need a FP anymore.

The nice thing with xplane is that, if for instance, you really want to use the FP the whole flight and they let you skip a wp or two, you can just alt tab out of xp, adjust the FP in Plan G, export it and load it into the gps. XP just keeps going in the background on my pc ;) On long flights I usually browse the web to ;)

PS on a different matter, ever since I bought prepar3d v2 I've become a hardcore XP10 fan. hehe.

Wow, that is quite impressive.  Typically I stick to jets but this really seems like it is worth getting.  Carenado will be getting my money :)

sounds like an airplane that could use a Reality XP GPS. There is also a free KLN 90B that has an updatable nav database but I haven't tried it yet.
