Any word if there will be a freighter variant with the final update?

 

It definately won't be in SP3, but the devs have said they are looking at amking it a separate (paid??) extension pack to the original 146 Collection base pack.

 

 

In a nutshell: ILS is an intrument landing aid, consisting of a horizontal (Localizer) and a vertical (Glideslope) beam, It gives the pilots guideance on whether their position is correct or not on an approach in bad visual conditions, and it can be followed either manually or by the AP. However, the pilot will have to disconnect the AP at least at minimums and fly the last meters of the final by hand unless the aircraft is capable of autolanding. This means the the AP is able to follow the LOC and G/S beam all the way down to the RWY - and that is a feature that is not that common at this time

 

What he said, and also in a nutshell with no Autoland CAT minimums are more stringent. Therefore runway visibility has to be greater in Low Visibility than say for a CAT III autoland certified aircraft....
