September 13, 201213 yr Xplane. Incomplete. Tried the Demo for a few days. I just dont get it I reckon . Tried the Demo 5 or 6yrs ago with same conclusion.
September 13, 201213 yr Xplane. Incomplete. And... does it mean... FSX complete instead? :-) Because... I tried that one since the good-old fs2 times, and really don't find it complete, at all, unless you're able to spend $1000 in some nice add-ons, and, even so, you still lack the helicopters, lighter than air, space/orbital flight with a corresponding atmosphere modelled up to the limits of the exosphere, etc... Not to mention that Plane-Maker does indeed allow for a LOT more than the tools available for fs9/ fsx aircraft design do, and that unless you use simconnect/fsuipc most of your systems are very basic when compared to what you get in default X-Plane10.... It's normal... MSFS is a rather old - unchanged - platform... MS FLIGHT was a step in the right way... P3d v2 may become a good option... X-Plane10 is, for the time being - THE FUTURE! Flying gliders since 1980 Flightsimming since 1992 AMD Ryzen 5600x, 32GB RAM, GPU Nvidia RTX 3060 Ti 8 GB, 1 TB and 500 GB nvme2 SSD drives, HP 27" 60Hz LED monitor @ 1920x1080, T16000, Hotas from old X52 Pro, Saitek Combat Rudder Pro (2010 model)
September 13, 201213 yr The only reason you have access to P3D for the moment is to test their software. You're not the intended client in the end. I am glad that avsim has finally taken a stance on this and specifically said that the eula can be made to work for us. I don't get why only a couple people run around the forums concerned about how the eula will impact others when they clearly have no intent of using it themselves. If the eula doesnt fit at all for you then thats fine, you play xplane/fsx only for it's gaming value. To you it's a game. For a lot of us who have an interest in aviation, flying, the technology, we are learning and some how fit in to the eula in a way that is acceptable.
