I don't care much about a set of flying textures if the systems aren't properly done. From the exteriors that I have seen so far from PMDG, this bird looks to be ultra real, inside and out! I also cannot find anything wrong with the NGX's textures :Peace:

 

So in essence, having an airplane that looks great from the outside but doesn't have the systems fidelity to match the looks, doesn't do it for me, but then again, that is just me LOL!

 

Once this airplane is released, all the critics will be silenced, no question about it!

Wow nearly three months and practically nothing on any products. Whatever they have planned they should really let us know instead of us running around like headless chickens! The 777 probably is finished, likely just tweaking and testing. If not then can't see it this year. Unless they've not done 'Beta' this time and just tested it more in depth as they've gone along?

I've always thought they got ticked off from all those comments about the engine fan/lighting early in the thread. Maybe they just decided to wait 'til the plane is ready to be released. Completed, so no one can complain about inaccuracies. My 2 cents there.

Yeah you got a point, that could have potentially ruined it for all of us!

I did, clearly inferior to CS. Keep in mind i'm talking about GRAPHIC QUALITY, it's not accuracy, as i know the CS model has a few flaws.

 

Keep in mind that the PMDG 777 preview shots were still very much in development -- and the CS777 is a finished product.

 

Anyway, I know that PMDG hates us for asking about updates because they waste time and will only report when they have news to report, but I would like just maybe at least a small little response by Jason or Ryan letting us know where they are in development if they're comfortable in doing so... if not then that's ok too but I just feel that they brought us up back in July only to make us wait longer. My guess is that they probably found something in July that needed to be fixed and it then delayed them a few months. Or maybe it's just a hype tactic? :Thinking:

I couldnt agree with you more. I think thats exactly what happened. Releasing an exterior preview was privledge that they didnt have to do, and yet did , and what happens? complaining about the shade of color on the engines after all the hard work and dedication, why would you post previews on here. Now we have to suffer and lie in wait.

That's not my idea at all. Bought it and hope it will turn out nice, and will buy PMDG's version as well.

I realy think I just stay at my worst spent 10 euros on the exterior! And go to pirateroxy.net to check on CS777 for free when it come out.

Oh come on now, we can all agree that the PMDG product will be superior, but piracy is a definite no no...and illegal.

If Rob or any of the development team is reading, I'm not sure if whether you're too busy, or you just decided to scrap the previews. But a small update or notice on any upcoming preview or decision on discontinuing previews wouldn't hurt? I really hope it wasn't something halting the development of the T7, but whatever it is, I think ( my opinion) it's worth telling. If not, no problem. I wish you guys the best of luck on this bird. The FS community has been waiting for a good T7 for a while. Meanwhile I'm loving the NGX!
