June 3, 201214 yr Thanks for the update. What do I do with this file Beech_B55.RevA? Does it need to be renamed or just copied to the aircraft folder? I'm now in sim heaven thanks to MSFS 2024 and hundreds of add-ons!
June 3, 201214 yr Commercial Member you can copy it over the existing file. I would suggest that you back it up first mind you... just in case you hate the new one.... June 3, 201214 yr Thanks for the update. What do I do with this file Beech_B55.RevA? Does it need to be renamed or just copied to the aircraft folder? Just copy it to the directory if you're overwriting the .cfg file too, the new aircraft.cfg in the patch references the RevA file, so no need to rename it unless you're trying to keep the old cfg.

That fixed the rudder. I also have the RXP GNS 530 working well. I'm a very happy customer. Thanks!!!!! I'm now in sim heaven thanks to MSFS 2024 and hundreds of add-ons!

June 3, 201214 yr I hope this meets with everyone's approval??? Absolutely! A second model sounds great as well. Nice work on the corrections - so far so good after a brief flight test. Prop problem seems improved, and the rudder issue is a thing of the past. Thanks for your efforts, Scott How did you get the rxp530 to work right ? Yes, please share Jose! Scott
June 3, 201214 yr How did you get the rxp530 to work right ? Here's how I did it. I copy and pasted only the highlighted areas in the panel.cfg: // This Panel.cfg file created by FS Panel Studio panel editor utility - http://www.fspanelstudio.com // Built Tuesday, August 03, 2010 at 17:39 FSPS Build:21566 [Window Titles] Window00=C310 Prelight Window01=GPS [VIEWS] VIEW_FORWARD_WINDOWS=MAIN_PANEL,THROTTLE_PANEL,GPS_PANEL VIEW_FORWARD_DIR=10.000, 0.000, 0.000 //-------------------------------------------------------- [Window00] Background_color=0,0,0 size_mm=500,243 window_size_ratio=1.000 position=0 visible=0 ident=70 window_size= 0.400, 0.324 window_pos= 0.000, 0.040 gauge00=B55_XMLGauges!B55_Preflight, 0,0,500,243 //-------------------------------------------------------- [Window01] window_pos=0.510000,0.000000 window_size=0.488281,0.500000 visible=1 ident=15531 ident=GPS_PANEL zorder=990 gauge02=rxpGNS!GNS530,0,0,100,100 //-------------------------------------------------------- [Vcockpit01] file=C310_VC_01.bmp size_mm=1024,1024 visible=0 pixel_size=1024,1024 texture=$C310_VC_01 gauge00=MilVizC310!MilVizC310_XMLSound, 657,4,17,16 gauge01=B55_XMLGauges!FBS_GNS430_2, 0,367,640,262 gauge02=B55_XMLGauges!FBS_KAP140, 0,767,640,163 gauge03=B55_XMLGauges!FBS_KR 87 ADF, 0,630,640,134 gauge04=B55_XMLGauges!C310_DME, 649,32,300,150 //-------------------------------------------------------- [Vcockpit02] file=C310_VC_02.bmp size_mm=512,512 visible=0 pixel_size=1024,1024 texture=$C310_VC_02 gauge00=B55_XMLGauges!FBS_GTX330, 0,376,512,136 gauge01=rxpgns!GNS530, 0,0,512,374 //-------------------------------------------------------- Day=255,255,255 Night=85,85,85 Luminous=140,140,140 [Default View] X=0 Y=0 SIZE_X=8191 SIZE_Y=3384 [Window02] window_pos=0.510000,0.000000 window_size=0.488281,0.500000 visible=1 ident=15531 zorder=99 gauge00=rxpGNS!GNS530,0,0,100,100 Then, I copied and pasted the RXPGNS.INI from the Duke into the main B55 folder. Now make sure that the Instrument Panels are turned on and you will be able to click on the gps and open only the GPS. I also turn off the 430 since it's part of the performance problem. The plane now works beautifully. I'm now in sim heaven thanks to MSFS 2024 and hundreds of add-ons!
June 3, 201214 yr Hi! What does the patch contain? A new .air-file or a different .cfg too? Will these changes be part of the coming service pack?
June 3, 201214 yr We will not be charging for this. As well, the price will not change till the SP is out for at least two weeks... I will also guarantee those of you who are over the 30 days, should we be late on the SP, a refund for up to 5 days after SP release should you not be happy. I hope this meets with everyone's approval??? www.milviz.com/filesfordownload/Baron_5520120531.zip Wait a minute, I'm confused. Are you changing the price once SP1 is out?
June 3, 201214 yr Commercial Member The SP will be released shortly. It will contain this and many other fixes. It will also include a new FDE with its own aircraft folder. Essentially, you will have two models of the same plane. The E55 and the c55 Note it is only small things that will change and those are mostly on the fde's and none in the model except speed indications The price will go up two weeks after the release of the SP Please contact oisin at milviz dot com for forum registration information.
