I DO know that I have an ATI 5770 card and almost a 3 year old AMD CPU and I have NO problems with CLOUD performance in XPX.MAYBE you MAKING your words all CAPS makes you seem MORE knowledgeable than YOU really ARE?

Fair enough, Jim. I see you have a unique installation of X Plane 10 that is completely different to Ben Supnik's version (regardless of whether or not he programs it) and it defies all programming logic.I do offer my apologies to you. It's not an ATI thing but a system thing.*yawn*

I guess the poster in #12 is making stuff up too?yawnyawn

Hey Jim, in XP10 under rendering options, there is a button on the lower right side that says something like "click here for high performance" you probably clicked it and set the renderings to minimum, without realizing it.I got I friend that has exactly the same setup that I have with the exception that I decided to go with nVidia and chose ATI, and let me tell you that he DOES have issues with performance with XP10 and other games. So, it IS an ATI issue.

I have an ATI 5770 and have absolutely no problems running XP10, so no, it's not an ATI thing.
According to the guy who actually codes the software, it is an ATI thing, so I say count yourself lucky if you're not encountering any problems.

With my 6970 in my machine I get 9fps, with my 560Ti I get 23fps. In my world, ATI definitely has issues with this game.

No, would you like to see my settings? So Geoff is just blowing smoke also?Maybe I should post that XPX stinks and make everyone happy.
it is an ATI thing
If it IS an ATI thing then why don't at least 2 of us experience it?

So Geoff is just blowing smoke also?
Geof never gave out his specs or settings.
Maybe I should post that XPX stinks and make everyone happy.
Haven't you already done that in various threads of various forums?
