March 4, 201214 yr [CameraDefinition.002]Title = $CockpitAIf you change the "Initial zoom" in the above section, it will only change the zoom from the cockpits. The default cockpit zoom is 0.60, which is a wide angle view. The outside views are all set with a zoom of 1.0, which is why all the scenery appears to be further away when you are in the cockpit. I set miy initial cockpit zoom to 0.8 during the beta (1.0 ends up not showing enough of the cockpit, especially in the Stearman). With 3 screen, i had to increase the iniyial zoom up to 1.8 to get rid of most of the fisheye effect. With this higher zoom, i had to move aft the viewpoint to be able to see the panel but now its fine.Added also the repeat command for moving eyepoint faster and the command mentionned earlier to look down by default.I also assigned a button to the backspace to recenter the view.Much better now than a couple of day ago. March 4, 201214 yr I owned a couple of used C150s that were recycled from South Florida flight schools. I probably have 10 actual hours of inverted time in the two. Probably never pulled more than 2 gs either. I taught all my primary and commerical student how to barrel roll a 150 and had them demo 3 or more spins left and right with recovery and each and every one had a simulated forced landing that had to result in a full stop. So yes, I feel fairly confident in an old Cessna 150. Don't have much time in the C152.RaySo you got the 1 hour inverted flight time achievement? Cool! Oz Sim Rig: MSI RTX3090 Suprim, an old, partly-melted Intel 9900K @ 5GHz+, Honeycomb Alpha, Thrustmaster TPR Rudder, Warthog HOTAS, Reverb G2, Prosim 737 cockpit. March 4, 201214 yr Two different planes, two different instructors, two different views.I'm with you Ray...I've flown 150s and instructed in the 152. It's certified in the utility category...I'd imagine Cessna did not have to do much more to the structure to get it certified in the Aerobatic category (Aerobat). It's a stout little plane.

March 4, 201214 yr My favorite thing about Flight so far? The fog.. Holy cow some of the latter landing challenges. Airport 10 miles out, fog doesn't break at at until about 80ft from the ground and you start out above the fog ceiling. Descending into a blind abyss at 2000ft and seeing the ground vaguely start to appear only 100 feet from the ground had me digging my nails into the flight stick. I have mayabe 2 minutes of inverted time in MS Flight. That will take a lot of loops and rolls. I'll have to check and see if the RV6 has the inverted time counter installed. Anything will do a barrel roll if executed properly 1 G max throughout. You can hold a glass of water in your hand as you make the roll, well maybe your passenger can hold a glass of water was you execute the roll.Ray When Pigs Fly . Ray Marshall .

Just being inverted is plenty enough fun. I have a few hours in a Chipmunk and dang every time we went to less than zero g I was sure the harness was going to give way and I was going fall right thru that canopy to earth. March 4, 201214 yr I also noticed the Remote view was mentioned in the manual, but I haven't stumbled across it yet.Screenshot view sounds interesting.Press R and then you will see your plane zoom away with you left behind so you can then control your plane abit like if you were standing around with a remote controlled plane.Craig
