January 23, 201214 yr hello, i just installed pmdg 737 ngx and i am on fsx load up the plane and it says intailsing system and the plane is off, how do you automatically change the settings for this? thanks. Mohit Mahtani
January 23, 201214 yr It takes about 20 seconds to load. Once it does that you can select something in the FMC regarding aircraft states. Otherwise Just start FSX in the default c172 with engines and avionics on, then switch to ngx. The aircraft should be ready to go. | My Liveries | FAA ZMP | PPL ASEL | | Windows 11 | MSI Z690 Tomahawk | 12700K 4.7GHz | MSI RTX 4080 | 64GB 6000 MHz DDR5 | 500GB Samsung 860 Evo SSD | 2x 2TB Samsung 970 Evo M.2 | EVGA 850W Gold | Corsair 5000X | HP G2 (VR) / LG 27" 1440p |
January 23, 201214 yr Like said earlier let the plane load then use the FMC to load the panel state u want. Dont load a default plane then switch to the NGX. Will cause problems. Matt Wilson

January 23, 201214 yr Author I did that on the FMc but still having problems it's not starting. Any recommendations please help Mohit Mahtani
January 23, 201214 yr What exactly is your process when u go into the FMC. And what do u mean by the plane not starting? Matt Wilson
January 23, 201214 yr Author I go into the FMc go into options select state and click normal or default and excuete and it loads up and the plane engines are still. Not running. Mohit Mahtani
January 23, 201214 yr Set the plane up in whatever state u want it, then save that panel state in the FMC then u can load it whenever u want it. Matt Wilson
January 23, 201214 yr Author I guess it's only a problem with the expansion pack cause the normal one works. Need to reinstall . Mohit Mahtani
January 23, 201214 yr What is your default flight, the one you get when you start up FSX? PMDG says it doesn't matter what your default flight is and what plane has been loaded when you start FSX but I found out that's not really true: I had to reset my default flight to the FSX default in order to get the 737NGX working (I could start the plane from cold and dark but thrust didn't work at all due to my default flight having another plane in cold and dark).
January 23, 201214 yr Hi AllIf you read the manual and the introduction tutorial flight, you will see there that it has been written in no uncertain terms that you do not, I repeat do not have to load up a default FSX aircraft first before then loading the PMDG 737. This is a complete and utter nonsense, which I have never had to do for any PMDG aircraft. As someone said above read the Intro Tutorial, read the manaual, I will add to this mantra, learn your product.Nearly all of the problems discussed in this forum are due to people not reading, remember the old adage, "read everything befor doing anything".Wycliffe
