December 24, 200322 yr I want to fly the 727 in FS2004. How do I do it? Is there an FFX 727 base for the 727? I've done numerous seaches in AVSIM and FlightSim and can't find such a file. Other than Captain Sim's, is there a 727 that you recommend for FS2004? I'd appreciate your advice. Stan
December 25, 200322 yr Look for 'b722lhw.zip'A very nice, new FFX/SGA 727 in Lufthansa paint. Couple that with '727km_pnl.zip' (panel), and you have a very nice freebie 727.Both files here at Avsim...I got 'em from here last night!:)
December 25, 200322 yr Author Thanks very much...just downloaded both files, and I'm off to unzip them. I appreciate your response and help. Stan
December 25, 200322 yr Stan, I know I'm late, but the CaptainSim 727 is a work of art. I'm not poo-pooing the freeware developers, but the CS727 far outshines any offering available out there. Over 500 switches couldn't be wrong :). It's also the only payware product I own and a snap at
December 26, 200322 yr Before CS finally got the 727 flite model close to right, I developed a nybrid using the CS textures, the someone else's air and RP's panel.I used it for some time in 2004 until CS came out with the final release and patch for the 727 . . .now I fly the CS exclusively.Clay
December 26, 200322 yr Author I'll look over the screens again, and maybe I'll just get it! I've noticed that I buy a lot of planes when they first come out, and don't fly them enough to justify their purchases. Some of the only exceptions are the Marchetti 260, the Decathalon, and Eaglesoft products. But so many have praised the CS 727, that maybe it'll also be a favorite. Thanks, Stan
