I'm making good headway on the Western "Bud Light" bird. After trying everything "outside the box", I finally think I have it figured out. The example below is close to what the fuselage will look like on the finished bird. It has the right reflectivity I'm looking for. I still have the tail to redo...lol. There is an area over the cockpit and nose that I still have to adjust the shading on. It's a lot of hand messaging.

I want it to be right before I upload it, so it might be delayed a few more days, but thought I would share another in-progress shot.

Now your talking Steve looking awesome quick thought not sure if its the angle of the picture is the top a bit dark, that base file you should only need to lighten or darken the roof texture, well done Sir. Steve if you need a base file for the tail just give me a ring. :)

Rich,

The top center area is what I have to lighten up a little. The challenge is when you get to the area where the front fuselage pieces split three ways and get stretched. It will require some trial and error adjustments to get it like I want it. That's why it's going to take me a few more days. I don't want to rush it after putting all the hours in perfecting the look I wanted.

I mentioned in a earlier post that the Republic bird was next. Here's an almost final shot. I have the rear fuselage stripe area to finish. On most Republic birds the light blue with a leading dark blue edge extends down from the tail to the top fuselage stripe area. Since Republic never used a 737, that left me a lot of leeway. I might not connect the fuselage stripe and leave it as is. It's still up for debate...lol.

Working a little on the National bird right now.

I'll probably have the Republic -600 uploaded sometime tomorrow along with the JetairFly -800 with winglets below. I received a request to alter my Thomson -800 (new livery) to this Belgian based (TUI) airline. The livery is done. I just need to finish up the thumbnail, readme, etc. So this one will be available sometime tomorrow as well.
