Except there's not going to be any "flames" here, we've already said there's to be no discussion of politics outside of the fact that he's running, this is the PMDG Support forum - there's a million places on the internet you can go to "discuss" (I use the term very loosely online since most "discussions" about these things on forums are anything but) politics.
Ryan,The only way this is going to work is if you: (1) erase all posts save for the OP and Robert's and (2) lock the thread. Please do so as politics are the LAST thing we need in here.

  • My god... So that's why he's slow answering his emails :( Seriously though, I wish him all the best. I hope he gets what he wants, after giving us what we want for a period so long. Good luck, Robert

Good for you Robert.Without making any political comments, your campaign website is top notch. I have an acquaintance seeking another state's Lt. Gov position and his website isn't nearly as professional as yours is - and he's already won his party's primary!

Seems to me that running for Lt Governor of Nevada would be sorta like seeking a commission as First Mate on the Titanic--after it's already hit the iceberg.I guess even a sinking ship needs someone at the helm waving to the tourists in their lifeboats while the Cap'n is out deep sea fishing with Harry Reid in his launch. :( Bob ScottColonel, USAF (ret)ATP IMEL Gulfstream II-III-IV-VColorado Springs, CO
Harry Who! I think he will do his upmost to stay away from Reid and his bunch after some of the things which have been going on in that state in the last few months. Vincent

This gotta be the American dream.Starting as a toilet-cleaner, and ending up as senator (Well, not yet ;) ) :D

"Heh, we were waiting for someone to discover this here. It's real. I'll let the next Lt. Governor of Nevada say more when he gets a chance.."( I have known this since December but did not bring it up here as this was not the place, wish you had followed suite)"Yep, just want to say before anything like that happens that there's not going to be any political debate going on here, that is the last thing we need on this forum lol. I'm kinda surprised though that no one figured it out from his stance on issues - that should mean a lot more than a letter or color if you ask me... ""Except there's not going to be any "flames" here, we've already said there's to be no discussion of politics outside of the fact that he's running, this is the PMDG Support forum - there's a million places on the internet you can go to "discuss" (I use the term very loosely online since most "discussions" about these things on forums are anything but) politics." "______ asked earlier in the thread if we could please keep any discussion of political views out of this arena. I would like to second that sentiment, as this is not the proper time or place for such conversation as it will only apply to a very small minority of PMDG customers.Now- if any of you are fellow Nevadans and you want to get involved: Please drop me a PM via the forum and I'll fill you in on how to help out- or where you might get a chance to give me your thoughts and input on the direction of Nevada. If any of you (US Citizens only!) feel so inclined: Political Contributions from individuals are the grease that keeps any campaign going forward- and it would be wonderful to have such backing from members of this community. (You can find the contribution page on the campaign website under the CONTRIBUTIONS tab.)"With all do respect, and I mean that, the above statements, Someone in your organization should have closed this on the first day. Yes it is your site, but plz......Maybe this, RR is running for state office as some of you may well know, we are not going to permit any discussion of this pro or con on our site. If you wish to learn more see................Thank you from the staff at PMDG for your continued support.Still a loyal customerVincent

His opponent is running on the FS9 platform. Sorry couldn't resist. :( . Best of luck. Politics nowadays is such a vicious career. Hopefully it's a good campaign and people show respect for you.
Now, that's a funny response.
