July 10, 200322 yr Hi guys at PMDG!With the DF737 (and any airplane where it's possible) I always put the overhead panel on my second monitor and keep it visible all the time. If I undock the overhead in the PMDG737 and moves the panel to the second monitor, it leaves a big black hole on the main monitor :)Would it be possible to change that so I can see the main panel and the overhead at the same time but on different monitors? No biggie, just thought I'd ask!/Krister Krister LindénEFMA, Finland------------------
July 10, 200322 yr As far as the view without a panel is concerned, I accidentally discovered that if you select the overhead panel and then put it to another monitor you can get the forward panel back by using Shift + 2.However, you have to be careful about that, apparently it is possible to get two forward panels, if you would use Shift + 3 as well for instance, you will get a new forward panel on top of the other and a lot of malfunctions can occur that way. However, this is the only way I found I can get the overhead on the other monitor.Leo Bakker
July 10, 200322 yr FYI: Using a key command to switch panels is not supported, and may have unpredictable effects. This is why there are menus on each screen.Thx,George George Morris
July 10, 200322 yr Yes, I have had some unpredictable results myself when I had accidentally opened both the normal forward panel and the zoomed version (Shift + 2 AND shift + 3) on my first monitor. But that had nothing to do with the second monitor as such. However, I still haven't heard ANY comment from PMDG how to get the overhead and forward view visible at the same time on two separate monitors any other way!Leo
July 12, 200322 yr I use SHIFT-7 to get the overhead panel up on top of the fwd view, then undock the o/h and move it to monitor 2. From that point on, selecting and deselecting the o/h with the PMDG panel switcher will put the o/h panel up on the 2nd monitor where you left it. This technique has not caused me any problems to date.RegardsBob ScottATP IMEL Gulfstream II-III-IV-V Bob Scott | President and CEO, AVSIM Inc ATP Gulfstream II-III-IV-V Sys1 (MSFS20+24/XPlane12+11): AMD 9800X3D, water 2x240mm, MSI MPG X670E Carbon, 64GB GSkill 6000/30, nVidia RTX4090FE Alienware AW3821DW 38" 21:9 GSync, 2x4TB Crucial T705 PCIe5 + 2x2TB Samsung 990 SSD, EVGA 1000P2 PSU, 12.9" iPad Pro Thrustmaster TCA Boeing Yoke, TCA Airbus Sidestick, Twin TCA Airbus Throttle quads, PFC Cirrus Pedals, Coolermaster HAF932 case Sys2 (P3Dv5/v4): i9-13900KS, water 2x360mm, ASUS Z790 Hero, 32GB GSkill 7800MHz CAS36, ASUS RTX4090 Samsung 55" JS8500 4K TV@60Hz, 3x 2TB WD SN850X 1x 4TB Crucial P3 M.2 NVME SSD, EVGA 1600T2 PSU Fiber link to Yamaha RX-V467 Home Theater Receiver, Polk/Klipsch 6" bookshelf speakers, Polk 12" subwoofer, 12.9" iPad Pro PFC yoke/throttle quad/pedals with custom Hall sensor retrofit, Thermaltake View 71 case, Stream Deck XL button box Sys3 (DCS/P3Dv4/ATS/ETS): AMD 7800X3D, MSI MPG X870E Carbon, Noctua NH-D15S, 64GB GSkill 6000/30, EVGA RTX3090 Alienware AW3420DW 34" 21:9 GSync, Corsair HX1000i PSU, 4TB Crucial T705 PCIe5 + 2TB Samsung 970Evo Plus, TM TCA Officer Pack, Saitek combat pedals, TM Warthog, TM RS300 FF wheel/pedals, Coolermaster HAF XB case
