Hi everyone, I wondered if anybody had managed to get a successful retrofit of the ISG primus 1000 gauges into the XLS? I have had a go, and while the result is good, I know it could be better if I knew more about tweaking panels. The FDE combined with a decent FMS would make this worth bringing out of the hangar. And I'd quite like to avoid the GTN as its in all my carenado planes! Cheers, T

.. with their version of the Primus 1000 avionics suite is it now possible to save and load flightplans ? Are there any bugs with capturing altitude set or any Autopilot functions ? Does it fly to waypoints outwith a flightplan and then able to retrack the flightplan correctly (ie - not picking a point midway between the the waypoint you set DTO and the previous waypoint on the Flightplan leg )? Are the SIDs STARs working and can you alter/change them and the Flightplan in flight without crashing the sim ? thanks for any info...

Will the aircraft handle vnav with the GTN 750 f1 ? Or it only works with the default fms. if it works. Any op flow to operate it ? best wishes

I'm not finding any information on how a cold and dark state is loaded. Can anyone enlighten me on how this is done?

I noticed this bird overspeeds easy. None of the detents seem correct. At cruise it overspeeds unless n1 is 94 or less. Is this a bug? overspeeds on the clb and TO detent as well. Anyone else experience this?

In the plane cfg you have to change the following code. This way ATC will call you by the correct plane. I just changed it in all three. atc_type=CESSNA atc_model=C560

I seem unable to initiate NAV using the GTN 750. I have it on " FMS" and GTN on GPS. HDG works fine. Any suggestions.

I have encountered the following problem: When I click on the metal levers nest to the throttles to release the throttles, they immediately go into reverse -am I clicking on the wrong spot?

The documentation that Carenado delivers with their addons is mostly close to useless, so I'm asking here for those who already bought the plane: what is the proper start sequence from cold and dark? The first 6-7 steps, so to speak.

1) I cannot get the engines to start: fuel boost on, ignition on, hit the starter switch, n is rising, at around 12 I move the respective throttles forward - nothing. I must be missing something.... 2) I have the Flight 1 GTN installed. Do I need to interact with the FMS at all? 3) Actually a third thing: For the life of it, I cannot find where I set the altitude.... Thanks!

My exterior landing lights don't seem to be lighting the runway. P3D 4.5. Is this a known problem or am I the only one experiencing this problem. Thanks

Carenado now offers an RXP option for this airplane... good! However, this is clearly still in its infancy.. First of all, you have to enable GPS Simcommands for the Direct-to button to work. In LPV APR mode, all the readouts on the PFD go dark.. more to come as I fly it some more..

Just wondering, whilst the aircraft follows the flightplan generated in the FMC, it does not automatically highlight the next waypoint when the previous one has been reached. Can anyone advise on this? The only way I can get it to select the next waypoint is by using the direct to function.

In v 1.0, the ALT SEL would not allow setting in 1000's at a time. I am now unable (in v 1.1) to set ALT using 100's at all. In other words, if I need to set 2300 feet, I can only set 2000 or 3000. What's up with that ?

The EFIS appears to be tied to a "Local Time" variable which fails when you cross a Time Zone boundary.. Unfortunately, even flipping the Avionics Power switch does not restart the gauge.

Evening all, I have been flying the aircraft a number of times using the stock FMC/NAV (no GTN 750). The aircraft calls out minimums however I cannot find a way to change the minimums height. Can anyone guide me to the correct place? Thank you in advance!

There's an Airspeed Reference Bug on the Airspeed Display and I was wondering how I can change the setting. It is at present set to 240 Kts but cannot find where it can be adjusted. Thanks in advance.

Anyone else having issues getting the APU to start? Battery is on and showing 24 volts, APU master switch to on... and nothing.
