390 Premier IA HD Series for FSX | P3D

I am wondering if It would be possible to request a repaint of a real world Premier that I used to see at KSNA all the time. I really liked the paint and was wondering if someone would be able to create the paint. This paint job is the same as N525CD and N87VM but on a Premier Jet. Hi everyone, I've been frustrated with the Carenado 390 Premier 1A. Here's my dilemma, I take off from an airport and I'm climbing through flight levels 200 and 290 all of a sudden I get an alarm and a "Flaps Fail" warning. I didn't accidentally hit the spoilers switch and my flaps are retracted, I'm flying a clean configuration and I haven't over-sped the engines or the plane. What am I doing wrong? If anyone has an answer I'd love to hear the solution because I'm stumped. Thanks in advance with any help you can provide.

Hello. I've got the Carenado Premier installed. I admit it's one of my favorite aircraft to P3D fly. I enjoy flying on PilotEdge. I use stock Carenado avionics. As in other aircraft I'd like to be able to listen to COM1 and COM2 at the same time, but, haven't been able to figure out how to do this in the Premier. I can toggle between COM1 and COM2 using the manual switch on the left pilot side panel, however, I'm unable to figure out how to listen to both frequencies concurrently. For example, when I'm flying the Carenado C172 G1000 I can select the COM1/COM2 button on the Garmin audio panel and listen to ATC on COM1 and pick on an ATIS on COM2 at the sa…

Has anyone seen this: After just purchasing the Premier 1a HD for P3d V4 and installing it, I thought I would park it as Signature KSFO and create a saved scenario with it set to Cold and Dark. First I thing I noticed was there was a weird entry on the list of panels called "Test Info" right next to "Loading Screen". When I click on Loading screen nothing happens. I do use the latest version of EZDOK with no problems with it. When I click on "Test Info" I get the screen to set the sim to Cold and Dark. Then I save the scenario. After loading the scenario at another time, It looks like its cold and dark, but the throttles are half way up and the engines are running!!…

After considerable effort, trying to get the Pro line/Carenavigraph to where it would allow the Premier to be usable (see recent threads in this, the Premier, area, authored by me), I have given up on that and turned my attention to alternative ways of making the Premier a success. I got the airplane for the airplane, not avionics; I am not at all interested in either Pro line or Navigraph and would be perfectly happy with nothing more than a GPS. So I have tried to see what might be done about that. I obtained the Lvar list for the 390 via Linda , using Spad.Next have mapped most of the Sw and Levers but the Starter push button escapes me , any one has any idea please?? Jorge

The engine switches have just started doing something strange. The RH ignition switch stays on and can't be turned off. Won't move. The LH switch acts as if it is spring loaded to the off position in that I can turn it on but goes right back to off. The LH ECU switch is spring loaded on in that when turned off it goes right back to on. The RH ECU switch is the only one that acts right. The engines still start ok. They all have always worked correctly in the past. Any ideas? Jim

I have many Carenado planes with Proline Avionics. Not my favorite, the avionics not the planes. I'm asking here but my question could be about any one of these planes actually. How do you know what airstrips are even in the database? I was trying a flight from KSUN to L35. I couldn't. L35 or Big Bear was not in the database. Seems like a large airport imo to be totally missing. Not at present interested in the F1 GTN and hoping that is not the only solution. It's just not an option at present. Budget concerns and all.... 🙂

I just purchased the Carenado Premier 390 for my Win7 FSX setup. When I try to load the aircraft, I get a message FATAL ERROR occurred, I have uninstalled and reinstalled several times. run as admin, repaired FSX SP2, disabled FSUIPC before reinstalling, and still the same problem. Sometimes the airplane will load and I can fly it, but when I end the flight, I get the same error message and FSX restarts and I cannot load the aircraft again. I have been in touch with Carenado support and they have suggested the above, but so far nothing works. I have several other payware aircraft installed, without any of these issues so I am not a newbie. Anyone have an idea? BTW I req…

The icons for map data (including route waypoints) are missing, although the labels are there. These shots were taken in the B350i, but it appears to be a common thread across all Carenado's ProLine21 birds in P3Dv4. I have observed this on my machine, and I have seen it in other users' screen shots as well...so I know I'm not the only one. This is with a basic install, no mods, directed to the main P3D V4 directory. If you are experiencing this as well, please let me know or send Carenado a ticket. Their P3Dv4 installers introduce so many new problems. Some of them were easy fixes (wrong entries in dll.xml, PC12 installer doesn't install required fonts)...…

Happy to report that, thanks to Bert Pieke who suggested I go back to Carenado, and to Carenado themselves who came up with what turned out to be the solution, my beautiful Premier is flying! The solution in my case was Carenado sending me another Navigraph.dll to replace the one already resident in my FSX root directory. My attempt to substitute in a G 1000 for the Pro line 21 was a complete failure, my skills are nowhere near equal to that. But I was right in suspecting that the Navigraph database is at the bottom of it. So now, with the new Navigraph.dll I have been sent, everything works perfectly except the FMC and the Navigraph database which is not present. H…

Hi, Whenever I select the Premier on FSX and click OK, the game freezes for a bit and then crashes with a 'panels.dll' failure reported. Any idea why this might be/anyone else having the same issue? Thanks

Hi, I've inserted my flightplan correctly, verything works fine, the VNAV works properly BUT the NAV mode does not work and I have to constantly adjust via the HDG selector to follow the flightplan....obviously, I've tried several times the NAV button (which was ON , but does not seem to work)...where have I gone wrong? Hello, I am having issue going direct to manually typed waypoint, if I try to enter a valid waypoint it pops in the destination airport and if I try to type in again it assumes that I confirm that I wan't to go direct to the destination airport and wipes out the whole flightplan. This can be extremely annoying especially when flying on VATSIM. I was convinced through the carenado youtube videos that their Proline 21 is some what usable. I put up a post about a month and a half ago (see "It must be fixable!" above) lamenting the unusability of my Premier and hoping for some suggestions as I was convinced that the problem was fixable and that it is a good airplane. Now I am here to report that I have fixed it - mostly. I'd really like to be able to control the selected autopilot altitude using my external hardware. I'm having trouble identifying the LVAR for this knob and just wondering if anyone knows what it is please?

Would the Vac speeds mentioned In the normal procedures pdf on page 12 be approach speeds ? Also do you add 5 kts (or 1/2 the wind speed ) to the Vrefs ? Thanks

I have installed the Premier on two of my computers; at home is my nine month old Dell XPS 8910 3.4 GHz with a GEforce 750 GTX video card running Windows 10. In the office siits my former flight Sim computer an eight-year-old HP Pavilion with a 2.93 GHz processor and a 1 GB video card running Windows 7. I installed the Premier first on the Windows 10 computer and had the screen freeze up (.1 FPS approximately) problem described voluminously elsewhere. Ever since I upgraded/downgraded to win10 the premier with proline is for me unuseable.1-2fps no kidding.Berts mod is of course great but.But. i was wondering if any of you win10ers can get the p1 to run smooth without disabling carenadonavigraph.dll (sp?) if yes ,what's the secret ? Thanks

Anyone have the planning factors for fuel burn, mostly climb? I just did an LRC flight in this thing and it took about 900 pounds to make it to FL370 in a 12.5K jet.
