737 Immersion Support

Hello! So, I have gotten quite annoyed by all these addons for P3D and X-Plane not working as they should... Here is a new one. I registered my 737 immersion which I just bought, and when I click on "direct download" in the VFXcentral, a message shows up two secounds later saying "you need the aircraft installed for this to work. Please check your manual" and I don't know which manual they are reffering to. I found no help in neither 737 immersions or PMDG 737 NGXs manual. So I have a windows 8 computer. I am running an updated version of PMDG 737 NGX (SP1d) on both FSX and P3D, and 737 immersion was able to find neither. I can run the PMDG 737 in both simulator, and the…

I vould like to by this product , but before I need to know if it has decrementation of fps in fsx

Hey, I bought 737 Immersion & PrecipitFX yesterday. When I go to activate the immersion package into FSX SE I find that SE is greyed out but original steam isn't. I don't have original installed only SE. Also P3D V3 is greyed out and I have that installed. Hopefully its something silly that i've done but could anyone point me in the right direction?? On the FSFX Packages website, in the technical support it states under Issues with the immersion package that FSUIPC is installed. I am not sure if I have to purchase FSUIPC or not. I understand it is around $30 unless there is another one. Thanks, Brennan

I am having a issue installing the product. Says unable to find smoke files and wont install

I bought the 737 immersion package tonight. It downloaded something called VFX central. I started that it it said that it installed 737 Immersion, but I see no evidence in any of the folders associated with Old Prop or in P3D v3. How am I to know if this was actually installed or not on my system. I have the A320 Immersion, but there is a folder for that in my program files.

Hi. Got the 737 immersion pack at release. It installed correctly (as far as I can tell) and I have yet to see any of the effects. It's almost as if the product isn't working at all. Thanks. Callum.

This pertains to the 737 immersion. I get this error mesasge whenever I run the VFX Central program and apply the 737 options. However, the effects still appear to come up fine within the sim (I haven't seen any condensation, but I think I just haven't flown in the proper conditions yet). Just to be safe I reinstalled the latest FSUIPC but still get the error message. And yes, I have UAC turned off, antivirus, etc. I use FSX:Steam (no dual-install, just standalone SE). Hi new to this product and decided to jump into purchasing the 737 Immersion package for added realism in the PMDG737. During the purchase I was offered a 30% discount to bundle PrecipitFX but chose not to as I was unsure if I needed it. How do the two products inter-react as the product pages appear to offer similar things like wingtip vortices and contrail effects ? I presume PrecipitFX will just enhance the default P3Dv3 rain and snow textures? If so how is this compatible with REX textures? As a 737 Immersion customer any chance of getting the bundle offer towards a purchase of PrecipitFX?? Thanks

Hello, So yester was payday and I got my PMDG 737 (all packages) again, as well as PreciptFX and the 737 Immersion pack. I installed everything correctly, but when I load the 737 in the proper conditions (1/4mi viz if you know what I mean) and throw on the lights, nothing happens. I still get the normal lighting effects. I do have the free version of FSUIPC (ASN uses it), but nothing has worked still, in the VFXCentral, it says that it is properly installed. Thanks! (P.S. another issue that is irrelevant, but my 737 doesn't have engine sounds. In the VC or external, all I hear is the systems/hydraulics/and other sounds that aren't the engines or the engine whine…

HI All, VFX Central is loaded and detects my P3dv3 install...but when I try to install\apply to load the effects, I get this error: Installation Error: System.Exception: aircraftCFGSmokeOffsetNotFound at c.a(Boolean A_0) at VFXCentral.MainWindow.a(Object A_0, DoWorkEventArgs A_1) at System.ComponentModel.BackgroundWorker.OnDoWork(DoWorkEventArgs e) at System.ComponentModel.BackgroundWorker.WorkerThreadStart(Object argument) Any tips? I have all the other fsfx effects packages loaded and run without issue. PMDG 737 is also loaded (vanilla) and runs without issue. FSUIPC is is loaded as well... Thanks.

Hi guys, Congratulations on the release, a release I and many others have looked forward to. But I got one problem that I hope you can help me with ? My volumetic strobe, beacon, nav light and logo light dosen´t come until 1/4 mile. But with 2-3 mile visibility the external landing and taxi light have volume. My special effect setting in FSX is set to high and I have reinstalled FSUIPC (paid version). Best regards Peter Lund

Hi guys I've had a look around the forums but to no avail, can anyone confirm if the 737 package will have strobe effects when in clouds at night and landing lights in cloud at night? This feature would add to the realism two fold. Cheers
