737 Immersion Support

PMDG release their new 737, 737NGXu today. then Any 737 immersion update is available or planned?

Hi! Today we published an update to 737 Immersion making it compatible with P3Dv4. In addition to P3Dv4 support, we fixed a long standing issue where the engine spray effects were assigned to the wrong engine. This update has been rolled out for FSX, FSX:SE and older versions of Prepar3D free of charge to existing customers. Prepar3D v4 users are not required to have Dynamic Lighting enabled to see volumetric lighting effects. To update 737 Immersion, simply go in VFXCentral and press DIRECT INSTALL or MODIFY/UNINSTALL to enable the effects in P3Dv4. Regards, Keven

Fired up the PMDG 737-900 and after getting airborne I noticed all the immersions were turned on. Even with lights off all the effects are running. I had to reload the plane to get it to stop. This was a first. Link

Hey! So I installed the immersion on a fresh install of windows and p3d v4.5, but it seems like non of the effects are working, vfx central is running and nothing happens. thank you!

Purchased the product two days ago, but I lost the activation #, I did not copy it and the 737 immersion does not show up in my products page. I txted support and the responce I got that it sometimes shows up in the spam folder. I did not get any email from Old Prop, nothing in my spam folder. I requested a activation # from OP this morning, nothing yet, it is taking too long to get action. George Nacino

First time I have had an issue with the any of the immerisons. I get this error when I sign in to VFX central. Tried reinstalling but gives this same error every time. Hi everbody, I switched to v4 and therefore I installed my PMDG 737 as well. I wanted to apply the immersion package to it but when I press install/apply following mesage shows up " Unable to find the Smoke System in Aircraft.cfg. I then reinstalled my 737 but it still doen't work. Could you help me out ? Thanks a lot

P3D 4.5 (though it happened in 4.4 as well). Happens on all variants of the NGX. Things I have tried: reinstalling NGX immersion, disabling/enabling wideviewaspect, It's not a big deal but doesn't look quite right... Taken at night to highlight the issue Any help appreciated. This is still an ongoing issue and I have had no response from the software support team Immersion Manager stops PD3 V4.5 from loading up then a message load supported aircraft even when I have loaded a support aircraft Is someone able to inform what is going on I have not had issues with previous versions of PD3 nor when I ran FSX I get a grey square with a message Load the simulator with a supported aircraft ( of which I have) then when I go to close the window I get a notification window Close Immersion Manager are you sure you want to do this? no matter what .. I have not heard from this company in a long time. There seems to be problems after updating P3d V4.5 and other addons. Is this company still around?

The user manual recommends to set to High the Special Effects Details slider. This is the very first time I have to change it from medium default. Based on your tests what is the trade-off with fps decrease on a hig-end gaming PC (5930k Oc'ed, GTX 1080, 16 GB RAM @2800)? Can you specify which effects won't be rendered as expected if I shift the slider back one notch?

I was very impressed with the 737 Immersion videos, but unfortunately I opted to buy the iFly737NG rather than the PMDG version. Is it possible to Install 737Immersion and adapt ormove effects to work on the iFly737NG? I already own Preciptfx, so would 737Immersion overwrite any effects already installed? Many thanks, Stuart

Rather than appearing to come out of the back of the engines, the contrails are a few feet offset from where they should be

I have a paid, latest file of FSUIPC (5.1.3.2) installed in P3Dv4.3. I'm getting a message saying "we have detected that fsuipc might not be installed properly on your system. please download and Install fsuipc as it is required for some of our products to work." What is happening?

They have alsways worked fine until tonight? Cannot be viewed unless the exterior camera angle is at a 45 degree pointing down towards the aircraft.. Any thoughts??

Hi, Not getting any effects from immersion nor precipitFX. Using 'high' detail on the quality sliders, got FSUIPC installed. Somehow still not getting any effects. I read you have to use certain type of weather, this may be it but how do I enter the given METAR (Immersion manual) into my sim?

Hi all, I've done my research but I can't find the answer anywhere so thought i'd post. I've just experienced an apparently common phenomena/bug in P3D/FSX (Although I have P3D V4) where the spray from taking off on a wet runway stays with the plane through the rest of the entire flight regardless of weather. An annoying extra jet stream about 20 foot below the plane. More details can be found here: Apparently this can be remedied by disabling/renaming the fx_SnowEngineWash.fx file but this stops the effect completely. I'd like to know whether the FSFX Immersion packages also fixes this fault either by replacing this file or providing the same effect…

I updated my 737 NGX this week from version 1.1 to 1.2. I reran the VFX Central and it said everything is ok. I don't see any engine smoke when starting up, temp -1 degree, dewpoint -2. Should I uninstall and reinstall or is this normal?

Just installed FSFX module for my PDMG 737 and basically being told I need FSUIPC for it to function................... Note I use P3Dv4 and I have no requirement to use FSUIPC for any other purpose at the moment other than to get FSFX module to work........note also I do own a version of the older FSUIPC4 (for my P3Dv3) so: Just wondering what my options are to get the required FSUIPC so my FSFX works - can see there is a demo versions of FSUIPC5 will this work? is there an unpaid version (if yes please can you give link)? or is my only option to get a full new licence? any help appreciated.............

Hello guys, I just want to enquire if anyone here has issues running 737immersion on their p3dv4.1. I have issues with mine where effects do not show up at all, whereas my 777immersion had the effects displayed everything in fine detail. Did VFXcentral reinstallation to cache clearing to no avail. I have contacted the devs but decided to try out here to see if any of u guys have a workable workaround. If you guys have any solutions do lemme know as it will be greatly appreciated. Is it possible that I would get no contrails behind my engines at FL400? this from KSEA to KDEN. Is it real or is there an issue with Immersion? I do have latest FSUIPC and Special effects to MAX...

For some reason recently i lost contrails and all effects on my PMDG 737 for P3Dv4...Should I reinstall VFX Central or is there another fix?
